Role Description Form Energy is hiring a Senior Test Engineer to accelerate the validation and safety certification of our multi-day energy storage technology. This role reports into the manager of the Test Software team. As part of this team, you will contribute to the development of rigorous test frameworks and safety compliance structures in close collaboration and partnership with our firmware, hardware and compliance teams.

What You'll Do
- Architect and execute test cases to secure UL1998 certification and to harden bootloaders.
- Review firmware implementations, and proactively identify testing optimizations early in the development lifecycle.
- Document the linkages between safety requirements and test executions to generate compliance artifacts.
- What you'll bring: 5+ years of experience in embedded software testing, firmware validation, or test systems development.
- Demonstrated experience successfully guiding safety-critical projects through the entire UL1998 certification lifecycle, showcasing an intimate knowledge of the standard’s requirements.
- Technical proficiency navigating low-level firmware environments, reading embedded architectures, and developing test code using C and Python.
- Experience developing hardware test fixtures, instrumentation setups, and integrating physical components with automated test benches.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical engineering deliverables across multi-functional teams. #LI-Onsite Humanity is a cornerstone of Form Energy’s culture
