Job Description Summary To support in delivering analytics and strategic decision support for early-stage pipeline assets and therapeutic area access teams. The role will contribute to the development of forward-looking access strategies by translating epidemiology, payer dynamics, HTA requirements, pricing benchmarks, competitive intelligence, and real-world evidence analogs into actionable insights.

Support the development of forward-looking access strategies for early pipeline assets and relevant analytics. The position will support early asset access strategy development, scenario modeling, pricing and reimbursement assumptions, and executive-ready deliverables across the IV&A value chain.

Job Description Key responsibilities: Develop optimal knowledge and experience in V&A / HTA / PMA Develop and maintain the qualitative and/or quantitative deliverables as per the stakeholder requirements in accordance with the agreed standard process and timelines, independently for assigned projects Liaise with stakeholders on project schedule/planning of deliverables Ensure that the new associates/junior colleagues deliver quality deliverables by providing guidance and performing QC/review Support early access analytics and strategy for pipeline (pre-TDP) assets, including market, access, pricing, and reimbursement hypotheses translating early asset data and market uncertainty into clear, actionable insights, decision-support materials, and access strategy frameworks Conduct payer and HTA landscape assessments, analog reviews, and benchmark analyses to identify access risks and opportunities across key markets.

Support pricing, reimbursement, and access considerations to inform BD&L activities and target product profiles Help develop assumptions for forecasting, including epidemiology, patient flows, competition, and pricing and reimbursement scenarios Deliver ad-hoc and cross-functional requests and activities Support the development of additional guidance and training materials (i.e. checklists, QA processes etc.) Contribute to the continual improvement of the assigned deliverables and the guidance template Develop long-term, peer-level relationships with key clients Train, coach, mentor and ensure functional development of new associates/junior colleagues within V&A team Comply with and support group’s project management tool, standards and policies Maintains records for all assigned projects including archiving Maintains audit, SOP and training compliance Essential Requirements : Attend all mandatory trainings Support V&A (especially PMA) deliverables meeting quality and timelines standards (as guided / defined by senior members) Timely delivery of good quality of assigned deliverables and tasks Contribution to decision-support frameworks and strategic recommendations Quality, clarity and actionability of early asset access insights Client satisfaction with quality of services provided Delivery of activities through independent work Ability to operate effectively in a matrix environment Ability to manage multiple projects across therapeutic areas and stakeholders Train, coach, and mentor new associate Support the enhancement of existing services / deliverables Job Dimensions Number of associates: Direct 0 Financial responsibility (budget, cost, sales etc.): Not applicable Impact on the organization: Essential contribution for improvement of overall effectiveness of the business Desirable Requirements: Education (minimum): Undergraduate degree in a relevant scientific discipline plus graduate degree (Masters or PhD) in relevant discipline (including health economics, epidemiology, health services research, public health, or business management) Languages: Proficiency in ‘English’ is a pre-requisite; while knowledge of other in-scope country languages would be an advantage Experience: Pharmaceutical domain knowledge MS-Office skills (MS-Excel, MS-Word, and MS-Power-point) 6-8 years conducting PMA analytics, situation analysis, or health economic and outcomes research (HE&OR) for pharmaceutical products in pharma industry, contract research organization, or academic institute; or experience in a closely related discipline within the pharma industry (e.g. clinical research, statistics, epidemiology, pricing analytics) Ability to work, prioritize, and drive projects independently Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion / EEO paragraph: Novartis is committed to building an outstanding, inclusive work environment and diverse teams’ representative of the patients and communities we serve.
