Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications across cloud, web, and distributed systems environments. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in Java-based backend development, modern frontend frameworks, cloud-native architectures, and financial services or highly regulated industries.
This role requires a hands-on engineer who can collaborate with business stakeholders, modernize legacy platforms, build scalable microservices, and deliver high-quality software solutions from concept to production. Key Responsibilities Software Development & Architecture Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable full-stack applications.
Build and maintain cloud-native microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and related technologies. Modernize legacy applications and migrate systems to contemporary architectures. Develop and maintain RESTful and gRPC service integrations. Implement data persistence layers and optimize application performance.
Front-End Engineering Create responsive web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js, Angular, and TypeScript. Translate UX/UI designs into high-quality user experiences. Develop reusable UI components and maintain frontend standards.
Collaborate closely with product, design, and business teams. Cloud & DevOps Design and support solutions running on AWS cloud infrastructure. Implement containerized deployments using Docker and cloud orchestration platforms. Improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
Monitor application health and performance using observability tools. Data & Analytics Design and optimize relational database solutions. Develop ETL processes and data integration workflows. Create dashboards and monitoring solutions that provide operational insights.
Support analytics and reporting requirements. Quality & Engineering Excellence Develop automated tests and maintain high code quality standards. Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers. Drive engineering best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, and regulatory requirements. Required Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field. Advanced degree preferred. Experience 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Extensive experience delivering enterprise-scale applications. Experience in financial services, fintech, capital markets, payments, or other highly regulated industries preferred. Proven track record modernizing legacy platforms and implementing cloud solutions.

Preferred Qualifications AWS certifications. Experience with trading, capital markets, financial modeling, risk systems, or payment platforms. Experience with compliance and regulated technology environments. Knowledge of event-driven and distributed systems architectures.
Strong understanding of data modeling and enterprise integration patterns. Desired Competencies Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Ability to balance strategic architecture thinking with hands-on development.

Strong collaboration across engineering, product, and business teams Salary Range: $100,000 - $167,500 Annual The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified.
