- The Demo Engineering team provides strategic and technical expertise to Sales and Solution Engineering teams during the sales cycle. As a Senior Demo Strategist, you will co-create and own the end-to-end demo strategy at Freshworks: transform discovery into tight storyboards, define what gets demoed for each segment/vertical, and scale reusable assets (scripts, videos, decks, data packs, and central demo orgs). You will also run the demo tooling stack so SE teams can have access demo-ready storyline and click-paths Key Responsibilities: Define the demo strategy by motion (segment/vertical/persona/use-case), with clear “when to use what” guidance across product lines. Storyboard from discovery: Run structured internal discovery with SEs/AEs
- translate challenges into narratives, storyboards, personas, and click-paths that support a live customer deal/opportunity. Build & curate a reusable demo catalog: Create demo scripts, talk-tracks, short videos, and decks based on product and verticals. Design and maintain central demo accounts: own the roles, manage access, seed with relevant data, set up workflows, ensure reliability, and manage issues within defined SLAs. Own demo tooling: Manage a combination of internal and external demo-automation tools. Ensure these platforms work with minimal downtime, define a clear roadmap based on user feedback, and execute the plan. Use the tools to create assets, verticalised instances, data seeing packages, AI agents etc. Project Management: Work with the extended Demo Engineering team to deliver a working version of the demo story plan via custom development work and manage the development and maintenance of the internal demo tools, including adding new features or configuring new workflows. Field enablement & adoption: Deliver playbooks, “how to tell the story” guides, micro-courses, and office hours
- drive measurable adoption of standard narratives by AEs/SEs. Strategic Events: Partner with regional SE leaders to design and define the demo flow in large public-facing events. Work with SE and DE teams, along with PM and PMM, to deliver a holistic demo package. Measure and improve: track adoption/reuse, time-to-demo SLAs, asset quality/CSAT, uptime/resets, and revenue influence

- We’re looking for professionals with 4-7 years of experience in Solution Engineering, Pre-Sales
- Solution Architect roles The candidate must have direct customer-facing experience and must have held a role where they delivered product demos directly to customers. Proven storyboarding and content skills (scripts, decks, videos) in a previous role High proficiency in working with gen-AI-based models such as ChatGPT, Claude
- others. Light scripting/automation skills (e.g., JS/REST) for data seeding, resets
- environment health checks. Mandatory Bachelor’s degree in Engineering A Master’s in Business Administration or Content Strategy would be a significant advantage Impeccable communication skills are a must with exceptional verbal and written proficiencies Your ability to work on a cross-functional team and collaborate is key to success in this position You must be a highly driven individual with an execution focus and a strong sense of urgency. You are self-reliant and problem-solving by nature. You like to beat the odds and take on difficult, often unstructured tasks.
