  • Amazon is looking for a Vendor Manager to own highly strategic vendors in a key growth category of the dynamic Toys business. The Vendor Manager will be responsible for the total P&L for a segment of the Toys business, including setting and executing the strategy for driving growth, creating strong partnerships with selling partners, managing profitability, optimizing business inputs and outputs
  • delivering our vision for our customer experience. This includes identifying potential new brand opportunities, partnering with selling partners to build comprehensive joint business plans
  • innovating the customer experience. The right candidate stays on top of market segment and competitive trends
  • is able to execute at both a tactical and strategic level to drive selection, sales
  • margin growth. The candidate should have experience in building strong relationships, driving top and bottom line results
  • be comfortable managing multiple responsibilities within a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has a deep curiosity for how things work, a passion for creating a world class shopping experience for our customers
  • strong business judgment with a track record of successful negotiations and overall relationship management. A successful candidate should be able to define and drive long-term objectives and strategy for the business. Proven analytical thinking, project management skills, attention to detail
  • exceptional organizational skills are musts. The Vendor Manager is an effective leader, communicator
  • a seasoned problem-solver.
  • 5+ years of retail, operations, product or program management
  • business management/consulting with negotiations and delivering results experience - Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years of professional or military experience - Experience with financial analysis and P&L ownership
  • Experience managing large data sets and utilizing to drive performance and process improvements - Experience in vendor negotiations, pricing and promotion, inventory management
  • product development - Experience creating processes and improving tools that have measurably improved productivity, quality

Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications
