Vice President - Head of Digital for SSIM Finance
Who we are looking for The Head of Digital for SSIM Finance is a VP level role based in India and will lead the strategy and execution of SSIM Finance’s technology-led transformation agenda, driving the transition from manual, fragmented processes to a scalable, data-driven, and AI-enabled operating model.
The role will deliver Finance-wide digital capabilities across data, reporting, automation, and analytics, while ensuring strong governance, controls, and business adoption. SSIM, the asset management division of State Street, is one of the largest asset managers globally, with ~$6 trillion in AUM, including over $2 trillion in ETFs.
What You Will Be Responsible For Lead delivery of Finance digital capabilities across data, reporting, automation, analytics, and AI Build a unified, governed Finance data foundation and enable self-service insights Drive automation and embed AI into Finance workflows to improve efficiency and scalability Define and execute the multi-year Digital & Analytics road-map aligned to CFO priorities Establish a single source of truth for Finance data and reporting Deliver enterprise reporting, dashboards, and decision-support tools Identify and execute process transformation and automation opportunities Ensure strong governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance Partner with CFOs, business leaders, IT, and DART to drive outcomes Lead adoption of digital tools across global Finance teams Build and develop a high-performing Finance Digital organization Experience & Preferred Qualifications 15–20+ years in Finance, Digital, Data, or Transformation roles (financial services preferred) Proven track record leading complex, cross-functional transformation initiatives Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a hands-on approach Excellent communication and executive-level presentation skills What we value These skills will help you succeed in this role Forward thinking, innovative and influential leader Strong IT project management skills Strong execution, collaboration and strategic skills Champion of employee development and engagement About State Street Across the globe, institutional investors rely on us to help them manage risk, respond to challenges, and drive performance and profitability.
