adhering to standards and processes. Required Experience:
Substantial experience in senior technical leadership roles such as solution architect, enterprise architect, principal engineer or management consultant, with a track record of shaping direction rather than only executing it.
Demonstrated experience delivering technology within a manufacturing environment, with a working understanding of production, quality, maintenance and supply chain processes.
Deep hands-on experience with SAP ERP in a manufacturing context, and practical working knowledge of Oracle platforms.
Experience delivering digital manufacturing, industrial IoT or MES capability, and experience taking at least one AI or advanced analytics use case into production.
Evidence of influencing senior stakeholders and driving organisational change without direct reporting authority over them.
Fluent written and spoken English
the ability to work effectively with globally distributed teams across time zones. Preferred Experience: Experience in a global matrixed organisation where the technology function reports centrally rather than to the site. Responsibilities
Consult on client requirements and propose technology solutions and business cases; guide in evaluating, selecting and utilizing new and existing tools and techniques.
Provide subject matter expertise and solutions on comprehensive technology issues for internal and external customers.
Lead the design, testing and technology implementation of technical projects, while collaborating with senior IT staff.
Ensure that the design and implementation of technologies are compliance with existing standards and processes.
