" Job Description & Summary: We are looking for a seasoned Product Owner Responsibilities: Responsible for serving as the liaison between the business and IT in transla t ing complex business needs into applica t ion so f tware.
Primary du t ies may include, but are not limited to: Analyzes complex end user needs to determine op t imal means of mee t ing those needs. Determines specific business applica t ion so f tware requirements to address complex business needs.
Develops project plans and iden t ifies and coordinates resources, involving those outside the unit. Works with programming staff to ensure requirements will be incorporated into system design and tes t ing. Acts as a resource to users of the software to address ques t ions/issues.
May provide direc t ion and guidance to team members and serves as an expert for the team. Requires a BA/BS and minimum of 5 years business analysis experience; or any combina t ion of educa t ion and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
Knowledge of systems capabili t ies and business opera t ions is strongly preferred. If this job is assigned to any Government Business Division en t ry, the applicant and incumbent fall under a 'sensi ti ve posi ti on' work designa t ion and may be subject to addi t ional requirements beyond those associates outside Government Business Divisions.
