Legal Counsel
- AWS Legal is looking for a talented Associate Corporate Counsel to serve as the primary legal advisor to its India Public Sector business. The role will provide strategic legal support across government procurement, regulatory and policy matters

Key job responsibilities The role would serve as the primary legal advisor to the India Public Sector business, providing strategic legal support across a broad range of initiatives. Responsibilities would include advising on government procurement opportunities through end-to-end review of RFPs, public sector contracts and funding requests, counseling on regulatory and policy matters affecting cloud adoption by public sector customers

- Experience in transactional work, including drafting and negotiating commercial contracts or equivalent - Bachelor's degree in Law, or 5+ years of post bar admission legal experience - Experience in Business English skills, both verbal and written - 3+ years of legal experience

- Experience in web services/cloud computing, software licensing, telecommunications or equivalent - Experience in private practice or in house experience at a technology company or equivalent - Familiarity with IT/technology licensing, outsourcing and services agreements. - Understanding of intellectual property, competition and privacy issues. - Familiarity with government contracting, including public procurement frameworks, tendering processes
