Job Summary: The Scientist II is responsible for accurately executing laboratory experiments and contributing to the design of scientific procedures. This role supports scientific discovery, Good Laboratory Practices, customer requirements, and research goals in a collaborative laboratory environment.
What You'll Be Doing: Execute laboratory experiments accurately in accordance with scientific protocols, policies, and procedures Contribute to the design and development of scientific procedures that support discovery objectives Set up and conduct experiments under scientific direction and in alignment with researcher and contract goals Manage laboratory equipment and support Good Laboratory Practices for the customer Perform work in accordance with ICH E6 Guideline for Good Clinical Practice Apply cell biology techniques including aseptic practices, transfection, transduction, cell-based assays, flow cytometry, and sorting Identify opportunities to streamline processes while maintaining safety, quality, and accuracy What We Are Looking For: PhD in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Chemical Engineering, Immunology, or related science fields 3+ years relevant experience, preferably in biotech or pharma Mastery of cell biology techniques including aseptic practices, transfection, transduction, cell-based assays, flow cytometry, and sorting Familiarity with ELN systems Basic computing skills, including Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent Other equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree The Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Needed for This Role: Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively as a helpful and engaged team player Ability to understand and follow scientific protocols, policies, and procedures Ability to act independently and manage responsibilities while following scientific direction Skilled at prioritizing tasks, problem solving, and meeting deadlines Very strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety and quality Flexibility, forward-thinking mindset, motivation, and willingness to learn What We Offer You: We put our employees at the center of everything we do and are committed to providing them, and their families, with benefits that meet their diverse and changing needs.

We appreciate your honesty and professionalism. The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $64,200.00 - $133,600.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time).
Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
