We Deliver – Together. Capability Life Cycle Manager (CLCM) The CLCM is integrated into the System Program Office (SPO) and contracted to deliver through-life asset management of Products being supported (PBS). The CLCM performs asset, sustainment and engineering functions to optimise availability and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and minimise risk through life of the PBS.

The CLCM works collaboratively via the SPO with Regional Maintenance Centre’s (RMC) to plan maintenance activities and installation of capability upgrades. The CLCM works collaboratively via the SPO with the Design Services Contract (DSC) to plan and execute engineering changes and services.

The CLCM delivers functions against the contract scope across the Asset Class Enterprise to support Defence Maritime Capability The Opportunity: In this pivotal role, you will help drive maintenance assurance, operational performance, and through-life support outcomes across a complex maritime sustainment program.

Working closely with key stakeholders, you will provide independent assurance and strategic insights that support capability readiness, risk reduction, and continuous improvement. This is a permanent full-time opportunity and is based out of Garden Island, Sydney

  • P ro j ect and contract management experience.
  • Minimum of 5 year s releva n t experience in Mai n tenance A ss urance in a D efence role.
  • W orking kno w ledge in Naval s y s tem s , s uch a s Configuration Management T oo l - U nified (CMT-U) and A ss et Management and P lanning Sy s tem ( AM P S).
  • V ery s trong interper s onal s kill s and abil i ty to communic a te ef f ectively .
  • Ability to work collaboratively, but can also operate autonomously using initiative, sound rea s oning, li s tening and evidenc e -ba s ed deci s ion-making s kill s Desirable: E ngineering diploma or maritime competence s & trade s k i ll s .
  • P rior experience as a W aterfront E ngineer or Ship Superi n ten d ent – D efence.
  • Proven skills and experience in leading contracted planned maintenance and breakdown activities Working knowledge in Naval Systems such as MILIS and NAVALLOW Excellent technical skills in marine systems Demonstrated ability to deliver results in high pressure environments All candidates will be required to hold and maintain an active Baseline Defence Security Clearance.
