The Experience The Sales Operations Senior Analyst will join our Quota and Capacity Planning (QCP) team, playing a critical role in driving program management excellence and supporting the development and optimization of our Anaplan-based quota planning environment.
This position will partner closely with Sales, Strategy, Finance, and cross-functional technology teams to ensure our planning tools and processes scale with the business. The ideal candidate combines strong program management discipline with deep quota operations expertise and a passion for building scalable, technology-driven solutions.
What You'll Actually Be Doing Serve as the Project Management office (PMO) lead for the Quota and Capacity Planning team — managing project timelines, stakeholder communication, and deliverable tracking across the annual quota planning cycle and ongoing operational initiatives Drive internal communications and cross-functional alignment for key quota programs, ensuring accurate execution and clear escalation paths Lead preparation of content for high-stakes planning reviews and executive audiences, translating complex operational details into compelling, data-driven narratives Partner with business stakeholders and Anaplan developers to translate quota business requirements into scalable planning solutions Identify opportunities for increased optimization and automation in existing planning processes and models Manage concurrent workstream and cross-functional dependencies, ensuring timely delivery and clear communication to leadership You're Our Person If... 4+ years of professional experience in Sales Operations, Sales Strategy, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Finance, or a related field, with a strong background in program or project management Demonstrated PMO experience managing cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment Hands-on experience with Anaplan — as an end user, UAT contributor, requirements writer, or model development facilitator B.S. in a quantitative discipline (e.g.
Statistics, Math, Finance, Engineering, or related field) Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the Core Competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.) Strong critical thinking and analytical skills; ability to analyze ambiguous problems and drive toward recommendations Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to distill complex operational details into clear, high-impact presentations for executive audiences Power-user proficiency in Excel; ability to communicate insights clearly in Google Slides or PowerPoint Even Better If...
Anaplan Model Builder certification or equivalent hands-on model development experience Familiarity with quota setting methodologies, sales coverage models, and territory alignment Experience working in Agile or structured PMO frameworks (e.g., SmartSheet, Quip, or similar) Knowledge of SQL and/or Snowflake with interest in developing further expertise Ability to quickly ramp on Salesforce collaboration and planning technologies (Google Workspace, Anaplan, Slack) Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift rapidly due to GTM decisions, with the ability to pivot seamlessly Ability to establish and build close working relationships; strong personal credibility and counseling skills Capable of working well under deadlines and juggling multiple priorities; strong meeting management skills Unleash Your Potential When you join Salesforce, you’ll be limitless in all areas of your life.

The typical base salary range for this position is $94,000 - $142,300 annually. 

The range represents base salary only, and does not include company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity or benefits, as applicable.
