The pay range is $73,000.00 - $132,000.00 Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and in some instances may include education, work experience and certifications. As a Physical Space Business Partner , you will lead the operations, coordination, and optimization of the physical spaces that support Target’s Store Experience teams.

This role helps ensure teams have an exceptional workplace experience while maximizing the effectiveness of shared environments, including the Mock Store and POG Room. In this role, you will drive the execution of physical space processes that enable HQ Visual interactions and support enhanced guest experiences in stores.

You will own the planning, scheduling, coordination, and day-to-day operations of shared physical environments, including space allocation, walk-through coordination, readiness planning, and ongoing utilization across teams. You will also manage budgets, invoicing, and operational processes tied to physical space operations, ensuring resources are allocated effectively and aligned to evolving business needs.

Through strong organization, communication, and project management, you will establish routines with key partners, identify opportunities to improve efficiency, and help create consistent ways of working across stakeholders. This role requires strong cross-functional partnership, operational excellence, and a continuous improvement mindset.

You will work closely with internal and external partners to solve challenges, improve processes, optimize space utilization, and support business priorities. You will also provide guidance, knowledge sharing, and mentorship to peers and L2 team members, helping build capability and consistency across the team.

As a subject matter expert and trusted partner, you will influence outcomes through collaboration, expertise, and relationship building. You will lead complex initiatives, champion best practices, and help evolve how Store Experience manages and utilizes physical spaces.

Key Responsibilities Manage space scheduling, coordination, and utilization across Store Experience teams Own day-to-day operations for the Mock Store, POG Room, and other shared physical environments Coordinate walk-throughs, space readiness, and physical environment planning Oversee budgets, invoicing, and operational processes related to physical spaces Partner with stakeholders to optimize space usage and improve the team experience Identify opportunities to improve processes, create efficiencies, and strengthen ways of working Establish and maintain routines with key partners to support timelines, priorities, and business objectives Troubleshoot operational challenges and drive practical solutions Support technology enablement, including virtual tools and platform sharing Provide mentorship, guidance, and leadership opportunities for L2 team members Foster an inclusive, collaborative environment that supports continuous learning and innovation About You 2-4 years of visual, store experience, space planning, or related retail experience 3+ years of corporate headquarters experience with strong in-store retail knowledge Strong communication, presentation, project management, and organizational skills Demonstrated ability to drive operational excellence and improve processes Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to build relationships and manage partnerships across internal and external teams Experience managing budgets, invoicing, or operational expenses Comfort working in a collaborative, fast-paced, and evolving team environment Interest in innovative technology, including virtual software and platform-sharing tools Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including SharePoint and Smartsheet Preferred: 4-year degree in Visual Merchandising, Art, Design, or a related field, or equivalent work experience Benefits Eligibility Please paste this url into your preferred browser to learn about benefits eligibility for this role: https://tgt.biz/BenefitsForYou_D Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) In compliance with state and federal laws, Target will make reasonable accommodations for applicants with disabilities.
