The starting pay range for this position per hour is $23.75 - $25.75. The full pay range for this position per hour is $23.75 - $40.40 Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and in some instances may include education, work experience and certifications.

The role of a H uman R esources Process Team Leader can provide you with the skills and experience of : P lanning HR department daily/weekly workload to support HR business priorities R ead ing financial reporting and interpret ing data F ollowing f ederal, state and local employment laws R ecruiting and event organization Using Microsoft Office Suite computer and workforce management programs E ffectively us ing scheduling software L eading a team of hourly HR E xperts , including skills in interviewing , developing, coaching, evaluating and retaining talent As a Human Resources Process Team Leader , no two days are ever the same, but a typical day will most likely include the following responsibilities: Consistently deliver guest experience commitments to create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience.

Ensures every team member understands, is trained, and consistently delivers on Target’s guest experience commitments and consistent operations. Actively observes and provides feedback, holding team members accountable while recognizing great guest experience moments.

Reviews area guest, financial, and team outcome metrics to identify opportunities , takes action to improve , and aligns team on the right behaviors and execution, celebrates wins, drives results that deliver outcomes and elevates the guest experience.

Lead and demonstrate a culture of executing all Target practices as outlined with team onboarding, learning and career growth; help close skill gaps through development, coaching and team interactions. Support leaders in creating and prioritizing an environment of inclusivity where teams value diverse voices and approaches, are authentic and respectful, and create equitable experiences .

Promote a strong training culture , including compliance training, by supporting the planning, tracking and validati ng the training for team members . With guidance from store leaders, implement a schedule that meets the needs of both guest s and team member s .

With guidance from your HR l eader, plan recruiting and staffing efforts to help store leaders find and hire candidates with the right skills and experiences to best serve their guest s. Be approachable and available for the team, lead a culture where team members feel heard and issues are quickly resolved , and collaborate with appropriate leaders to take action as needed .

Deliver on all HR pro cesses and programs to maximize team member engagement and minimize business disruption all while guiding leaders to make informed decisions for their teams . Deliver a comprehensive orientation experience for new team members ) to enable them to provide a service and shopping experience the meets the needs of the guest .

With guidance from your direct leader, execute the store staffing strategy and implement recruiting efforts to help store leaders find, hire and onboard candidates with the right skills and experiences for their team . Understand and reinforce store specific employment law s and policies .

Provide support for staffing systems, scheduling systems and pay practices . Establish clear goals and expectations and hold team members accountable to those expectations . Understand financial objectives to maximize profitability and plan work to achieve area-specific and store goals .

D emonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance . Lead and demonstrate a safety culture through modeling and recognizing safe behaviors, identifying and correcting hazards, holding team accountable to following safety expectations, assisting with incident response, and reporting/investigating injuries timely and accurately.

Model the execution of physical security processes in order to enhance the instore security culture. Support merchandise protection strategies across the total store; including ordering, storage and application as directed by best practices .

If applicable, as a key carrier, follow all safe and secure training and processes. Occasionally assume store-level leadership on duty (LOD) responsibilities to enable the guest experience for the store during assigned shifts based on store needs Address all store emergency and compliance needs including claims management and return-to-work program.

You are open to working a variable work schedule with varying hours, days or shifts (including nights, weekends, holidays , closing shifts and other peak shopping times). The good news is that we have some amazing training that will help teach you everything you need to know to be a Human Resources Process Team Leader , but there are a few skills you should have from the get-go: High school diploma or equivalent Must be at least 18 years of age or older Previous experience using automated scheduling, time keeping and workforce management applications preferred, but not required Strong cognitive skills, including problem analysis, decision making, financial and quant itative analysis Lead and hold others accountable Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.
