We're seeking an Associate to join our Fixed Income Product Control team within ISG Finance. The role will support key controllership processes, help ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, and partner closely with the Business Unit, Technology, Operations, and other Finance stakeholders.
The Associate will contribute to daily P&L reporting and analysis, balance sheet substantiation, control execution, issue escalation, and process improvement across the Fixed Income franchise. In the Finance division, we partner with business units across the globe by providing management reporting, analysis, review, and advisory support related to the Firm's financial and capital resources.
This is an Associate-level role within the Product Controllers job family, which specializes in ensuring the adequacy of controls, profit and loss reporting, balance sheet reporting, and reconciliations for a segment, business, or product area.

What you'll do in the role: - Produce, investigate, and report daily Profit and Loss (P&L), including analysis of key drivers and movements. - Partner with the Business Unit, Technology, Operations, and other Controllers to deliver accurate P&L reporting and timely issue resolution. > Review and allocate P&L attribution into appropriate market-based effects, including Greeks, and non-market-based effects. > Support monthly net revenue and balance sheet reconciliation and substantiation, including identifying differences between the General Ledger and P&L reporting systems. - Escalate, research, and help resolve outstanding breaks, reporting issues, and stakeholder questions in a timely manner. - Contribute to the execution and improvement of controls, procedures, and reporting processes. - Support Finance and business initiatives, ad hoc analysis, and projects that strengthen the overall control environment.
What you'll bring to the role: - Working knowledge of Finance, Accounting, financial markets, or financial products, with an interest in Fixed Income markets. - Previous experience in financial services, audit, accounting, product control, operations, or a related control function preferred. - Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to investigate and explain financial results. - Ability to manage multiple deliverables, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. - Strong communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders. - A control-minded approach, with the judgment to escalate issues appropriately and challenge processes constructively. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with data, reporting, or automation tools is a plus.

The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component.
