Job Description

Oracle Product Hub Architect (with EDMCS Expertise) Role Summary The Oracle Product Hub Architect will lead the enterprise Product Master strategy using Oracle Product Hub (OPH) , ensuring seamless integration with EDMCS (Enterprise Data Management Cloud Service) and RMCS (Revenue Management Cloud Service).

This role requires a techno‑functional blend of architecture design , data modelling , integration expertise , and deep understanding of product, pricing, and revenue data flows . You will work multi-functionally with Product, Finance, Billing, Pricing, Data Governance, Architecture, and Technology teams to establish a unified, governed, accurate, and scalable product data foundation.

Key Responsibilities 1. Oracle Product Hub Architecture Lead the design and governance of the enterprise Product Master in Oracle Product Hub. Define product structures, item classes, attributes, catalogs, lifecycle rules, validations, and workflows.

Develop scalable patterns for product creation, enrichment, approval, and publishing processes. Ensure alignment with enterprise data governance, MDM strategy, and architecture principles. 2. Integration with EDMCS Architect end‑to‑end integrations between OPH and EDMCS for: Product hierarchies Dimension mappings Attribute synchronization Governance workflows Define patterns using APIs, OIC/ODI, file-based (FBDI), or event-driven integrations.

Govern metadata, lineage, and mapping logic to ensure consistency with Planning, Reporting, and ERP. 3. Integration with RMCS Design OPH → RMCS integration for: Product catalog synchronization Pricing attributes Revenue recognition attributes Contract and billing dependencies Ensure product attributes required for revenue allocation, SSP rules, POB setup, and accounting treatments flow accurately into RMCS.

Coordinate reconciliation mechanisms to ensure RMCS reflects the correct product and revenue metadata. 4. Data Flow & Process Architecture Map end ‑ to ‑ end product, pricing, and revenue data flows across: OPH → EDMCS OPH → RMCS OPH → ERP (Oracle Cloud/SAP) OPH → Billing systems OPH → CRM (Salesforce, Dynamics, etc.) OPH → Data Warehouse / Data Lake OPH → Finance & Regulatory reporting Identify upstream/downstream impacts, dependencies, and integration risks.

Define data lineage, quality rules, enrichment logic, and reconciliation frameworks. 5. Techno ‑ Functional Leadership Translate functional requirements from Finance, Pricing, and Product teams into technical architecture. Define governance models for product setup, change management, and attribute ownership.

Participate in workshops, design sessions, sprint planning, and UAT. Provide thought leadership on Product Master standards across global teams. 6. Integration & Architectural Governance Lead integration patterns across OPH, EDMCS, RMCS, ERP, and Billing.

Define API contracts, mapping documents, transformation logic, error handling, and exception flows. Guide development teams and ensure alignment to architectural standards. Drive consistent design patterns and reusable frameworks across regions and business units. 7.

Quality, Controls & Compliance Establish strong data quality, lineage, and validation controls across OPH and integrations. Support audit and compliance requirements for Finance, Accounting, and Regulatory functions. Ensure proper controls for product attribute changes and hierarchy modifications. 8.

Production Support & Continuous Improvement Provide L4 architectural guidance for production incidents and data integrity issues. Conduct root‑cause analysis for data flow issues between OPH, EDMCS, RMCS, and downstream systems. Collaborate with teams to optimize performance, reduce manual work, and enhance automation.

Skills & Experience Required Technical Skills Deep implementations of Oracle Product Hub (mandatory): Item architecture Catalogs & item classes Lifecycle workflows Product attribute governance Import/Export (EGO, FBDI) Strong hands-on with EDMCS : Hierarchy management Data governance Mappings, validations, and approvals Good understanding of RMCS (required): Product catalog and revenue attributes Revenue allocation methods and POB setup Pricing and SSP-related attributes Expertise with: Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) ODI / FBDI / REST APIs / SOAP APIs SQL and data modelling Event-driven architecture (Kafka optional) Experience integrating product data with ERP (Oracle Cloud/SAP) and CRM/Billing systems.

Functional Skills Good understanding of: Product lifecycle & governance Pricing and revenue recognition models Product-to-accounting mappings Planning/reporting hierarchy usage (EDMCS) Good background in Finance processes, Billing, and Revenue Operations.

Experience in handling functional workshops with Finance, Product, and Business SMEs. Qualifications Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field. 12–15+ years in ERP/MDM/Data Architecture roles. Shown experience with Oracle Product Hub , EDMCS , and RMCS integrations is important.
