• We are looking for a technically advanced Risk Controlling professional to bridge the gap between methodology and implementation. The role sits within the ICAAP Methodology & Analytics team and focuses on translating regulatory and methodological requirements into robust, scalable
• audit-proof technical solutions.
• In this role, you will take ownership of implementing risk methodologies in Python, enhancing our internal risk tooling
• driving automation and data quality across risk processes. You will work closely with methodology teams, data engineers
• other stakeholders to ensure that risk models and reporting processes are implemented efficiently, transparently
• in line with regulatory and audit requirements.

In This Role, You Will

• Implement risk models and methodologies developed across Risk Controlling (e.g. ICAAP models, capital and liquidity ratios) into production-ready Python solutions.
• Enhance and maintain the internal risk controlling tool, improving scalability, robustness, and usability.
• Translate regulatory requirements into audit-proof, automated processes, including controls and documentation standards.
• Support the implementation of upcoming regulatory changes and new products.
• Collaborate with data and engineering teams to establish reliable data pipelines and ensure high data quality and consistency.
• Develop and maintain automated risk reporting processes and supporting infrastructure.
• Ensure traceability, reproducibility, and transparency of all implemented models and processes (audit readiness).
• Contribute to improving development standards (testing, versioning, documentation, code quality) within Risk Controlling.
• Act as a key interface between risk methodology, data, and technology teams.
• What you need to be successful:
• Background
• Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or a similar technical field.
• Experience in building and maintaining data-driven applications or analytical systems in Python.
• Experience working in environments where data quality, traceability, and robustness are critical.
• Skills
• Strong proficiency in Python (object-oriented programming, data processing, modular code design).
• Solid SQL skills and experience working with large and complex datasets.
• Experience designing and working with data pipelines and system integrations.
• Strong focus on automation, including building scalable and reusable solutions.
• Familiarity with software engineering best practices (e.g. version control, testing, code reviews; CI/CD).
• Interest in financial risk management and regulatory topics.
• Initial exposure to risk, finance, or regulatory environments (e.g. banking, fintech) is a plus.
• Understanding of concepts such as risk metrics, reporting, or controls is beneficial but not required.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
