We are looking for a hands-on DevOps Lead to drive CI/CD modernization using GitHub Actions, Kubernetes (AKS), Docker, and Azure , while leading the design and delivery of secure, scalable, and automated software delivery platforms. The role combines deep technical expertise with team leadership, focusing on developer enablement, GitOps adoption, operational excellence, and enterprise-grade DevSecOps practices to improve engineering productivity and reliability. people management, with close collaboration with the onshore team.
Key Responsibilities Lead CI/CD Strategy & Delivery Design and implement end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and GitOps principles Enable standardized workflows for build, test, release, and deployment across teams Drive adoption of modern CI/CD practices aligned with enterprise DevOps standards Platform & Cloud Engineering Build and maintain containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS preferred) Manage and optimize deployments within Azure cloud environments Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of platform services Team Leadership & Oversight Provide technical leadership and direction to engineers and DevOps practitioners Assign and oversee work across team members to ensure timely and high-quality delivery Serve as the escalation point for complex technical and pipeline issues Developer Enablement Partner with application teams to design and implement CI/CD solutions that support modern development practices Create reusable templates, workflows, and automation frameworks to accelerate delivery Promote a “shift-left” culture through collaboration between Development, QA, and Operations Security & Compliance Integration Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines (SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, secrets management) Ensure compliance with enterprise standards and secure deployment practices Promote secure coding and pipeline governance Operational Excellence Improve pipeline reliability, monitoring, and observability Drive continuous improvement through automation, metrics, and feedback loops Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis when necessary Minimum Requirement Degree or equivalent experience.
Typically requires 10+ years of professional experience Required Qualifications Strong hands-on experience with: GitHub Actions (CI automation and workflows) Kubernetes (AKS preferred) Docker / containerization Azure cloud services and infrastructure Proven experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines Experience leading or directing technical work across teams Strong collaboration skills working with distributed development teams Deep understanding of DevOps, GitOps, and software delivery lifecycle Nice to Have Experience with Jenkins and/or Groovy (existing pipeline migration or support) Exposure to GitOps tools such as ArgoCD Experience implementing security tooling within CI/CD pipelines Familiarity with monitoring/observability tools (e.g., Dynatrace) Knowledge of infrastructure as code (Terraform, ARM, etc.) Key Expectations Act as both a hands-on technical leader and a delivery lead Drive standardization and modernization of CI/CD capabilities Improve developer productivity through automation and self-service capabilities Ensure pipelines are secure, scalable, and production-ready Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence Why This Role Matters This position plays a critical role in advancing our DevOps transformation by enabling consistent, secure, and scalable delivery pipelines.
