The Mickey’s of Glendale Manager will be responsible for leading business strategy, merchandising, product development, and operational execution across retail channels. This team drives brand storytelling through product, ensuring alignment with financial targets, guest experience expectations, and company standards.

You will report to the Facilities Development Studio Executive. This is a Full-Time role

What You Will Do

  • Lead the creation and execution of Mickey’s of Glendale retail strategies across e-commerce, brick-and-mortar
  • event channels Define category and brand strategies using analytics and market insights to achieve annual financial objectives exceeding $10M Oversee merchandising, product development, inventory management
  • marketing alignment to maximize sales performance Develop core and seasonal assortments and manage product lifecycles from concept through commercialization Direct internal teams and external partners in product and art development, ensuring quality, cost efficiency
  • brand standards Manage vendor relationships, sourcing strategies
  • compliance with Disney standards and regulatory requirements Oversee financial planning including AOP targets, forecasting, margin management
  • inventory optimization Collaborate with cross-functional partners to drive business growth, innovation
  • operational excellence Lead and develop team members through hiring, coaching, performance management
  • fostering an inclusive culture Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards
  • asset protection programs Required Qualifications & Skills: 5+ years of experience in e-commerce, merchandising, retail operations
  • product development Demonstrated experience leading teams and managing cross-functional partnerships Strong financial acumen including forecasting, budgeting
  • margin management Ability to develop and execute merchandising strategies across multiple product categories Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making Ability to manage complex projects and multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong leadership, communication
  • relationship-building skills Experience working in a matrixed organization Preferred Qualifications & Skills: Experience with The Walt Disney Company brands and business segments Experience with merchandising systems, PLM tools
  • POS systems Experience developing co-branded or collaborative product programs Knowledge of retail sales practices and product lifecycle strategies Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Merchandising, Supply Chain

  • The hiring range for this position in Glendale, California is $95,500 - $128,000 per year.
  • The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
  • A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
