We are looking for a talented attorney to join the Amazon Health Services legal team. This role is a dynamic mix of transactional work, product counseling, compliance and regulatory advising. You will support foundational technology efforts, new business initiatives
- customer-facing products and services. In this role, you will take on diverse responsibilities including negotiating deals, advising on regulatory strategies, looking around corners to identify and mitigate critical legal and reputational risks

A day in the life You will collaborate cross-functionally with clinical, technology, compliance, risk and healthcare teams, diving into complex legal challenges that demand creative problem-solving. Expect to engage in strategic discussions about new product launches, analyze emerging regulatory developments, draft and negotiate commercial agreements
- develop innovative compliance frameworks that enable our teams to move quickly and confidently. You will balance multiple workstreams—from advising on AI-enabled workflows to reviewing a vendor agreement to counseling on state-specific regulatory requirements—all in service of our mission to make healthcare dramatically easier for customers. - 2+ years of post bar admission legal experience - Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent
- Experience in private practice or in house experience at a technology company or equivalent - Experience providing legal counsel to senior business stakeholders. - Experience in technology, retail, manufacturing, logistics
- e-commerce industries. - Experience independently managing complex commercial transactions and legal matters. - Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment in ambiguous situations and provide practical, business-oriented legal advice. - Strong leadership skills, with experience mentoring junior team members. - Ability to manage competing priorities from multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
