Role Summary This role provides expert level configuration services across all platforms, including auditing source code archives. Writes and audits configuration management build plans and version description documents, ensure seamless backend operations, and deliver secure, scalable, and reliable technology solutions.

Responsibilites 1. Provides expert level configuration services for up to ten applications on multiple platforms. Works on the most complex systems with large numbers of interfaces and users. 2. Plans, schedules, and completes the most complex software builds and elevations, creates directories and security groups, and recreates prior versions.

Monitors software, hardware, or middleware updates, and packages and tests complex in-house applications. Participates in inspections, elevations, and related meetings to address configuration issues. 3. Installs tools for internal clients, and monitors compliance and usage. 4.

Administers and audits source code archive databases. Writes and maintains documentation, including policies and procedures, configuration templates, guides, and release notes. Audits software, hardware, or middleware baselines, updates, and documentation.

Reviews staff configuration management plans and tasks. 5. Administers and audits configuration management plans and completes the most complex client requests. Adds, updates, and completes IT problem management and change management database records.

Researches and resolves the most complex issues. Audits change management configuration records for future releases. 6. Leads inspections, elevations, and related meetings to address configuration issues. 7. Works with management to implement quality assurance improvement plans and initiatives, concentrating on methodology and configuration management. 8.

Creates standard and ad hoc reports for IT project teams and managers. Measures and assesses metrics, including accuracy, timeliness, errors, rescues, and availability code and documentation. Tests and evaluates IT vendor products and makes recommendations. 9.

Trains and mentors staff and writes training materials. Resolves the most complex issues elevated from staff. 10. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned. 11. Collaborate with front-end developers and cross-functional teams to define objectives, aligning back-end solutions with user-centric design for seamless experiences. 12.

Integrate and manage data flow between multiple back-end services, APIs and databases, ensuring smooth, reliable data exchange. 13. Ensure the back-end functionality is reliable, secure and scalable, implementing best practices for data protection and system performance. 14.

Analyze system performance and troubleshoot data, processes and code, identifying and implementing improvements to enhance efficiency. Qualifications and Skills Minimum of 8 years of related work experience in application engineering, configuration management, or backend systems support Postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience Hands-on experience in server-side development, database design, and system performance optimization Proficiency in managing APIs, data flows, and integration between back-end services and databases Experience working in Agile environments using tools like JIRA and Confluence Ability to create detailed technical documentation, templates, and configuration standards Effective communication skills for mentoring teams and leading technical discussions across functions Location This role is based in Hyderabad, Telangana at Vanguard’s India office.
