Software Engineering & Development-UI Dev ( State Street Bank and Trust Company; Austin, TX): Will work to help build and support next generation web trading applications. Specific duties of the position include: will design and build ultra-high-performance web active trading feature rich applications; collaborate closely with product management, QA and other development team members; identify and implement best practices in coding and design, keeping up on the latest developments in web technologies; analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints; consult with customers or other departments on project status, proposals, or technical issues, such as software system design or maintenance; modify existing software to correct errors, adapt it to new hardware, or upgrade interfaces and improve performance; using object-oriented programming languages, as well as client and server applications development processes; apply knowledge of UX and UI development, Java, JavaScript, ReactJS, HTML5, and CSS.

Hybrid remote telecommuting permitted pursuant to Company policy. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree, or its equivalent, in Computer Science or a related field; plus 5 years of experience in any occupation/title providing solid knowledge of JavaScript, ReactJS, HTML5 and CSS.

Must have: demonstrated experience and ability designing and building ultra-high-performance web active trading feature rich applications; proven commitment to writing clean, testable and efficient code; demonstrated ability to clearly communicate ideas; demonstrated ability to work in a highly collaborative environment; and proven experience with Java or similar language and is comfortable with some server development.
