All Job Posting Locations: Bangalore, Karnataka, India Job Description: DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a Director, Workforce Intelligence, located in Pune, India. The Director, Workforce Intelligence is a senior, strategic leadership role responsible for building and scaling enterprise workforce intelligence capabilities that inform talent strategy, inclusion, and total talent results (TTR).

This role partners closely with global Talent, Inclusion, HR, Finance, and Business leaders to deliver actionable insights that shape workforce planning, skills strategy, diversity outcomes, and organizational effectiveness. The position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise ‑ wide decisions through advanced analytics, storytelling, and data ‑ driven foresight during a pivotal period of transformation for DePuy Synthes.

Key Responsibilities Lead the global workforce intelligence strategy, translating business and talent priorities into measurable insights and decision ‑ ready analytics. Develop and oversee workforce planning, skills forecasting, talent supply/demand modeling, and scenario planning across geographies and functions.

Provide executive ‑ level insights on talent, inclusion, hiring, mobility, retention, and productivity to support enterprise and functional strategies. Partner with Talent, Inclusion, TTR, HR, and Finance leaders to align workforce intelligence with business planning and investment decisions.

Establish data governance, analytics standards, and scalable reporting frameworks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance. Lead, coach, and develop a high ‑ performing team of workforce analytics and intelligence professionals. Drive continuous improvement by leveraging advanced analytics, automation, and emerging technologies to enhance insight generation.

Communicate complex workforce insights through clear narratives, dashboards, and executive presentations to influence senior leadership. Qualifications Education Bachelor’s degree required in Human Resources, Analytics, Data Science, Economics, Business, or a related field.

Master’s degree (MBA, MS, or equivalent) preferred. Experience and Skills Required: Typically requires 10-12 years of progressive experience in workforce analytics, people analytics, strategy, or related disciplines, including leadership experience at the enterprise or global level.

Demonstrated experience leading complex analytics initiatives that inform executive decision ‑ making . Strong business acumen with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations. Proven leadership experience managing and developing high ‑ performing teams in a matrixed, global environment.

Advanced expertise in workforce planning, talent metrics, and data visualization tools. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including executive ‑ level presentations

Preferred

  • Experience supporting large, global organizations through transformation or separation initiatives.
  • Exposure to MedTech, life sciences, or highly regulated industries.
  • Experience integrating external labor market data and skills intelligence into workforce strategies.
  • Familiarity with advanced analytics, predictive modeling, or AI ‑ enabled workforce tools.
  • Strong change leadership and influence skills across diverse cultures and regions.
  • Other: Language: Proficiency in English required .
  • Travel: Up to 10–20% international travel may be required .
  • Certifications: Relevant analytics or HR certifications are preferred but not required .

  • Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes.
