At Fiserv, it’s also a team sport. As part of our dynamic team, the Event Manager will have a unique opportunity to meaningfully contribute to delivering on the expectations for on-brand, targeted events as part of a high-energy team of professionals.
This role will be responsible for collaborating with stakeholders across content strategy, events, product marketing and communications to manage content and related deliverables for hosted events, including Forum and other programs as assigned.
In this highly collaborative role, you will manage multiple priorities, oversee detailed workflows and demonstrate problem-solving and prioritization skills requiring keen attention to detail. You will build productive relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendor partners while overseeing all elements of event content planning, onsite execution and follow-up
What You Will Do
- Establish content deliverables and deadlines calendar and coordination plan with content strategy and project management teams Outline and enforce content owner / product marketer expectations Manage content submission intake and review process Collaborate with internal and external partners on development of content management system and speaker portal technology Define session production standard setup, requirements
- optional inclusions (polling, videos, etc.), build and test session audio visual request form Track completion of session and speaker deliverables, escalating as necessary to maintain accountability to timelines and due dates Ensure speaker expectations have been circulated and session rehearsals scheduled, in coordination with communications and content strategy leads Work with agency and production partners on all session room specs, staging, audio visual, polling and other requirements, submitting orders, managing budget and overseeing onsite setup and teardown according to schedules Lead onsite content operations partnering with Fiserv stakeholders on final session click throughs and rehearsals, directing onsite meetings management team on session room logistics

- any high priority sessions as identified Complete post-event follow-up including coordination and delivery of session transcripts, videos, polling
- survey results Participate in debrief activities by submitting debrief notes, reviewing comprehensive survey results and feedback
- incorporating best practices and lessons learned info ongoing process improvements What you need to have: Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, marketing, communications
- related discipline 5 years of experience managing event content, logistics, meeting space and audio-visual planning and onsite execution for multiple high-touch, complex programs with varying numbers of attendees for in-person and virtual events Experience working with event technology platforms such as Cvent, RainFocus, etc.
- Experience working with virtual event platforms such as Microsoft Teams, 6Connex, etc How you’ll work: This role is on-site Monday through Friday.
- Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
- Ability to travel up to 30% within a year for site visits, operational planning, onsite event management, etc.
