- Want to own the financial strategy that shapes how leadership understands and acts on one of Amazon's fastest-growing businesses? Amazon Canada's third-party (3P) Store spans thousands of sellers across FBA and MFN channels
- we're looking for a Finance Manager to be the single point of accountability for topline growth. You will go far beyond traditional reporting, building AI-powered workflows that transform raw data into leadership-ready insights in hours instead of days. You'll track results across channels, benchmark performance against external data sources
- evaluate the economics of entirely new business models. You'll partner with business leaders, data scientists
- supply chain teams to turn signals into strategy, with visibility across the entire Canadian Store. Key job responsibilities - Own the Canada 3P topline story across all channels (FBA, MFN, Haul), delivering weekly flash, monthly performance reviews
- quarterly business review narratives. - Build cohort-level growth driver analytics that decompose performance and translate patterns into actionable recommendations. - Benchmark performance against external data and traffic patterns to inform planning and investment decisions. - Evaluate new business models by building P&Ls, defining profitability thresholds
- driving investment decisions with data. - Own real-time and post-event financial reporting for High Value Events like Prime Day - Lead 3P-specific input into quarterly planning cycles, benchmarking forecasts against actuals and identifying channel-specific risks and opportunities. - Pioneer AI-powered finance workflows, designing, deploying
- governing AI agents that automate reporting, generate narratives
- 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience - Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics
- a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science) - 5+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy experience - 5+ years of leading cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy experience
- Knowledge of SQL/ETL - 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience - 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis
- recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements
- customer benefits) experience - Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards) - Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting
