Technology Lead Business Analyst - Vice President

Key Responsibilities

• Requirements Elicitation and Analysis: Collaborate with all stakeholders, including Risk, Compliance, business users, and dependent technology teams, to elicit, analyze, and document detailed business requirements.
• Epic and Story Decomposition: Work closely with the Product Owner to break down high-level Epics into well-defined, actionable user stories with comprehensive acceptance criteria.
• Data Migration Support: Perform detailed analysis to support the data migration from legacy systems to the new unified platform.
• This includes data mapping, defining transformation rules, and establishing data validation criteria to ensure data integrity.
• Process and Workflow Modeling: Document current and future state workflows, identifying gaps and opportunities for process improvement to support the development of a single, unified workflow for Risk and Compliance.
• Team Onboarding and Training: Assist in the onboarding of new teams to the platform by developing user guides, training materials, and providing subject matter expertise to ensure a smooth transition and adoption.
• Testing and Quality Assurance: Partner with the QA team to develop detailed test cases and scenarios.
• Participate in the testing process to validate that the implemented solutions meet the business requirements.
• Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a key communication bridge, ensuring all stakeholders have a clear and common understanding of the requirements, project status, and deliverables.
• Ideal Candidate Profile: Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within a second line of defense function in the financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of risk management principles, compliance frameworks, and regulatory processes.
• Experience with large-scale data migration projects, including data analysis, mapping, and validation.
• Expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban), with a proven ability to write clear and effective Epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business needs into detailed technical requirements.
• Experience in developing test cases and supporting the quality assurance process.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and manage stakeholders across different levels and departments.
