Position Description: At Microsoft’s Operations Service Center, we have a passion for customers, partners, and technology.

As a member of the Cloud Services Operations team, you will lead and optimize cloud processes across multiple Go-To-Market motions. This role is focused on driving scalable, compliant, and efficient transaction operations that support the growth of AI Partner Customers and custom Azure workloads.

You will partner across Engineering, Sales, Finance, and Support to improve how cloud transactions are executed and evolve operational capabilities to meet future demand. The Cloud Operations Program Manager role Interfaces with Engineering, Launch, Sales, Finance, and Support organizations to operationalize and continuously improve cloud products, workloads, and programs across modern and legacy sales motions.

Responsibilities include process design, escalation leadership, and driving operational excellence for Cloud Transactions supporting AI Partner customers and advanced Azure scenarios. Responsibilities Lead and optimize operational processes supporting AI Partner Customers and Custom Cloud motions, ensuring scalability and consistency Own complex pre- and post-sales escalations, driving root cause resolution across stakeholders, systems, and processes Identify, design, and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and throughput at scale Drive simplification and automation initiatives, including adoption of AI-enabled process enhancements (e.g., prompt engineering, LLM-supported workflows) Define and reinforce compliance frameworks while enabling new commerce and cloud motions Leverage reporting and analytics to manage performance, identify trends, and inform decision-making Partner cross-functionally to align on process changes, system enhancements, and operational priorities Establish and document scalable processes, tools, and best practices to enable global consistency Qualifications Required/Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain Finance, or related field AND 4+ years of experience in program management, process management, or process improvement OR equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications Deep understanding of Microsoft cloud offerings, licensing constructs, go-to-market models, commercial business processes, and the broader Microsoft organizational ecosystem, including business groups, support functions, and core systems.

Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, influence stakeholders without direct authority, and drive alignment across teams. Experience designing, implementing, and scaling process improvements, operational frameworks, and transformation initiatives.

Exposure to AI-enabled process enhancements and data-driven optimization approaches. Process design, change management, and execution capabilities. Advanced analytical skills with experience leveraging SQL, KQL, or similar tools to drive business insights and decision-making.

Experience working with Azure usage data, cloud consumption models, and cloud transactional processes. Financial and business acumen, including the ability to assess transaction, operational, and revenue impacts. Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at multiple organizational levels.

Proven ability to operate effectively in complex and ambiguous environments while driving structured, measurable outcomes. Business Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $97,600 - $188,400 per year.

There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $125,000 - $206,400 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
