We're seeking someone to join our team as a Vice President in Shared Services and Banking Operations. You would be joining a truly global team of dedicated and diverse professionals that operate across 8 countries. Shared Services and Banking Operations (SSBO) delivers industry leading operational solutions by aligning the right functions, people, processes and tools into 10 core disciplines offering a tailored client service that is efficient, controlled and compliant with regulation.
This first class service is provided to all asset classes across the entire trade lifecycle from client on-boarding to post settlement tax payments. The Fleet Product Owner is a senior leader who is passionate about serving customers, inspiring their teams, and excited to be an ambassador for the organization’s new way of working.
Partnering with Senior Leadership, you will be accountable for delivering business results and customer value measured through specific KPIs. You possess strong business or technical acumen and are capable and curious to learn across both. You know how to set strategic direction for your teams and are comfortable stepping out of the way while enabling and supporting your Product Owners, Technical Leads and Squads to drive and deliver the work.
You have a knack for empowering and bringing out the best in people, and love coaching and developing team members. You will also drive collaboration and knowledge sharing at all levels of the organization to break down silos and achieve the best results for the organization.
In this role, you would have functional responsibilities with accountability and impact on people, budgets, and operational excellence targets. You would have accountability for the Agile performance, operational excellence and people development agenda of the team, plus for the delivery of a first rate client service experience.

Specific and measurable KPI’s to be defined for Fleet, Squadron and Squad Support the Fleet Lead in the communication of Fleet vision, purpose, and measurable business/customer value KPI’s; working with Senior Leadership to align on these elements Develop Fleet-level backlog of priorities, in-line with business strategy and KPIs Inspiring and empowering your Squads to deliver against the Fleet’s priorities and KPI’s Using facts, data, and analysis to make hard decisions and trade-offs, especially related to resource allocation and prioritization of work Working closely with your Product Owners to drive alignment between Fleet priorities and Squads’ daily work Empowering and enabling Squads to realize their missions Coordinating with Product Owners and Chapter Leaders to identify the right resources to support the Fleet’s priorities Engaging regularly with Product Owners on Squad output and providing the right level of feedback to enable Squad alignment and autonomy Breaking down silos and improve working effectiveness by playing an ‘integrator’ role across the organization and across the organization as needed Collaborating with other Fleet Leads and stakeholders to resolve escalated bottlenecks and dependencies Teaming with Chapter Leadership to help strengthen our people and functional capabilities Engaging with stakeholders above and below you to advance the work of the Fleet Support Senior PO and SA in defining acceptance criteria for Squad output and providing feedback on work-in-progress as helpful to ensure alignment Ensuring Product Owners proactively seek out and consider the voice of the customer in defining their priorities Support the Fleet Lead in representing the Fleet and Squad interests to senior stakeholders within the organization leadership, and escalating blockers as needed Developing a framework for Agile coaching and continuous improvement for the Fleet.
Managing, providing feedback, and developing Product Owners and business chapter leads to help improve individual and Squad performance What you'll bring to the role: Knowledge of Agile delivery framework Knowledge of Security Settlements and consideration of upstream/downstream consumers is desirable Experience leading, motivating, coaching, and developing people and teams in an Agile environment Proven track record of delivering results and impact Proven analytical skills on hard and soft data Ability to understand and articulate broad organizational visions and objectives A desire and openness to learning and continuous improvement, both of yourself and your team members Strong influencing skills to achieve alignment up and down the organization Commitment to the organization’s new way of working through greater collaboration and breaking down of silos Demonstrated strong performer and politically astute leader with experience and success in setting clear priorities, executing well and delegating effectively: Demonstrable ability to effectively manage a diverse stakeholder group (internally and externally), harmonizing different objectives in order to bring significant contribution to the business.
Exceptional, analytical, communication, problem solving and relationship building skills are required; Strong written and verbal communication skills; Ability to work well under time constraints and prioritize appropriately across multiple projects.
Strong strategic and business planning skills; Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for tasks Proven delivery track record in delivering change across multiple operational teams; Keen analytic and problem-solving skills, and sound judgement to support and enable effective decision-making; Extensive leadership skills, with a track record of success; Experience of making decisions in a changing environment and anticipating future needs; Knowledge of trade flows across all products; Strong/Advanced MS Office skills (including Visio, Excel, PowerPoint); Strong project management skills, including project planning and control, stakeholder management, status tracking and reporting, issue and risk management, and budget management; Ability to think strategically and provide insight into how to improve existing business and technology processes.

The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component.
