Who we are looking for We are seeking an experienced Sr IT Planning & Strategy Professional to drive technology programs that involve cross-organizational and strategic initiatives including Ai, Infrastructure & Cloud, Security and Regulatory and business initiatives in the Investment Management space .
The ideal candidate has deep expertise in overseeing multiple interdependent technology projects, aligning them with strategic business goals including a clear understanding of core technology platform concepts including Microservices, AI Gateways, Data & Analytic OLAP Platforms, Transactional databases including Oracle, AWS architecture, API Gateway, networking, security, automation, and platform architecture.
This role will drive to success scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud solutions, working closely with platform engineering division, DevOps, and security teams to ensure alignment with business and compliance requirements . This position requires extensive experience driving to completion investment management technology implementations across IT Architecture and development lifecycle experience in Front and Middle Office.
Understanding the investment domain is essential including trade lifecycle through front and middle office, compliance and risk management. Understanding the budget process, ROI and business case construction is also essential. What you will be responsible for As Sr IT Planning & Strategy Professional you will You will be working with GA Application Technology Solutions teams, Cross Organization Architects, Platform engineering. You will help manage Application Modernization migration and strategies.
You will lead programs that span across global development locations and understand current state challenges, course correct and drive to completion. You will work with technical SMEs to help identify creative solutions for technical Challenges.
You will manage conflicts with multiple stakeholders while keeping the project goals in focus. You will drive cloud solution programs for application teams on their modernization and migration. AWS, Azure) would be a plus Extensive presentation experience in large forums Extensive experience driving Global teams Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to diplomatically and effectively manage issues across functional teams Successful candidate should be enthusiastic, keen to be part of a growing team Education & Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s Or Master’s degree in a technology related field (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science, etc.) required 14+ years of IT program and project management 3+ years of Cloud program experience A technical background with 3 – 8 years in Python or Java as development experience a plus. 7+ years of managing with Global Teams 5+ years of experience in data projects including relational databases or OLAP Excellent knowledge on Public Cloud tech stack Prior working knowledge of JIRA and Confluence Experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum and Kanban) or waterfall Salary Range: $120,000 - $202,500 Annual The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified.
