Title and Summary Director, Product Management OVERVIEW: Fraud, disputes

- consumers. Ethoca Alerts addresses this challenge by delivering near real-time transaction and fraud signals that enable issuers and merchants to proactively resolve issues, prevent unnecessary chargebacks
- improve customer experience. By strengthening data accuracy, matching
- ecosystem connectivity, Alerts helps reduce operational costs, minimize consumer friction
- drive better outcomes across the payment lifecycle. THE ROLE: The Director, Product Management will:
- Act as the business owner and manage lend to end product roadmap for Ethoca Alerts
- Optimize product performance by enhancing data quality, matching accuracy, and signal effectiveness
- Oversee the product lifecycle, including continuous improvement, operational performance, and P&L management
- Take a data-driven approach to product enhancements, identifying opportunities to improve alert accuracy, timeliness, and coverage, and prioritizing roadmap investments accordingly
- Understand Mastercard’s business model and leverage financial and commercial insights to drive revenue growth and cost efficiency across Alerts
- Leverage the Studio framework to deliver ongoing innovation and enhancements, with a focus on prevention-led use cases and real-time decisioning
- Lead test & learn experimentation to optimize alert performance, customer outcomes, and ecosystem adoption
- Incorporate a deep understanding of the payments ecosystem, including issuer and merchant workflows, fraud trends, regulatory considerations, and evolving technologies
- Leverage product, data, and platform knowledge (including Clarity, MCOM, and other signals) to enhance Alerts value and interoperability across the ecosystem
- Take accountability for delivery of key product enhancements, partnering cross-functionally (e.g., CX&D, Product Management – Technical, Data, and Engineering teams)
- Understand the Software Development Lifecycle and proactively identify and address barriers to delivering capabilities on time and within budget
- Use dashboards and analytics to monitor product performance and drive action plans
- Collaborate across product, technical, data, and commercial teams to define requirements and deliver scalable solutions
- Partner across the organization to establish best practices and continuously improve the Alerts operating model
- Drive consistent product documentation and knowledge sharing across the Studio framework
- Demonstrate continuous learning, particularly in fraud trends, data capabilities, and payment ecosystem evolution
- Lead by example, demonstrating product management excellence and Mastercard Way values All About You
- Experience driving data-driven product strategies, particularly in transaction data, fraud, or payments ecosystems
- Proven success delivering and scaling products across multiple markets and customer segments
- Experience managing commercial outcomes, including revenue growth drivers and cost optimization
- Strong understanding of issuer and merchant workflows, dispute drivers, and prevention strategies (preferred)
- Ability to translate complex data and technical concepts into clear, actionable product strategies
- Clear and concise communication, with strong stakeholder influence at senior levels
- Experience improving team processes to accelerate delivery, innovation, and quality
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing product teams
