- Position Summary
- The Electrical Logistics Lead is responsible for planning, procuring, receiving, tracking
- distributing electrical materials, tools
- PPE to support construction projects. This role works closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, Foremen, vendors
- warehouse personnel to ensure crews have the right materials and equipment at the right time while maintaining accurate inventory and cost control.
- Key Responsibilities
- Submit material requests and purchase requisitions to vendors.
- Obtain bid-level quotes and review vendor pricing for accuracy and lead times.
- Verify all ordered materials meet project drawings and specifications.
- Track material requests, purchase orders, deliveries, and backorders.
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming material shipments.
- Manage laydown yards and electrical stock inventory.
- Maintain and track company tool inventory.
- Maintain PPE inventory and distribution for electrical personnel.
- Coordinate and deliver materials, tools, and equipment to project sites.
- Support field teams with material planning and forecasting.
- Reconcile packing slips, purchase orders, and invoices.
- Promote safe material handling and warehouse organization.
- Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial or industrial electrical experience.
- Journeyman Electrician (JW) license preferred, but not required .
- Strong knowledge of electrical materials, equipment, and the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Experience reading electrical drawings, specifications, and material takeoffs.
- Experience with purchasing, inventory management, and vendor coordination preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams) required .
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs., work indoors and outdoors, and frequently walk, stand, bend, and load/unload materials.
- The position is full-time. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
