Work Flexibility: Hybrid Senior Manager, Global Mobility - EMEA Permanent Contract The Senior Manager, Global Mobility – EMEA leads strategy and execution for all employee mobility into and within the EMEA region (Europe and EEMEA). This role partners closely with Talent Acquisition, HRBPs, Legal, Finance, Tax, and external partners to deliver compliant, cost‑effective, and employee‑centric mobility solutions that enable business growth.

The role serves as the regional mobility authority, balancing risk mitigation, financial stewardship, and exceptional stakeholder experience while leading and developing a high‑performing Global Mobility team. This role operates at both strategic and operational levels and requires hands‑on leadership in complex, sensitive, or escalated mobility and immigration cases.

People Leadership: Lead and develop the Global Mobility team responsible for managing all mobility into and within EMEA. Set clear priorities, allocate resources, and monitor workload and case management to ensure consistent, high‑quality delivery across all Stryker divisions.

Execute all people management responsibilities, including performance management, coaching, capability development, and succession planning. Practice Leadership: Provide regional ownership for Global Mobility programs supporting EMEA, including policy design, governance and financial stewardship for immigration, relocation, and tax practice areas.

Identify opportunities to enhance Global Mobility programs and lead the design and implementation of new or revised policies and practices. Own regional Global Mobility financial performance, including budget forecasting, vendor spend analysis, cost benchmarking, ROI evaluation, and presentation of insights to senior leadership.

Maintain expertise in Global Mobility, immigration, and relocation trends, regulations, and emerging practices through industry engagement and professional development. Process Leadership: Own regional mobility roadmap aligned to business growth and talent strategy.

Lead cross‑functional mobility projects, including policy redesign, vendor transitions, system implementations, and process optimization initiatives. Establish and monitor KPIs, dashboards, and reporting frameworks to measure cost, cycle time, compliance, service quality, and employee experience.

Provide updates to management and other stakeholders as requested Drive continuous improvement through data‑driven insights, system enhancements, and scalable operating models. Stakeholder Management: Serve as a trusted partner to HRBPs, business leaders, Talent Acquisition, Legal, Finance, Payroll, and Tax on Global Mobility, immigration, and relocation matters.

Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure Global Mobility, immigration, relocation, and repatriation processes support business objectives while managing risk and cost. Maintain strong engagement with relocating employees and assignees, monitoring feedback and actively improving the end‑to‑end employee mobility experience.

Assist with case file workload as necessary. Manage, collaborate and maintain effective relationships with external Global Mobility vendors (Relocation Management Companies, Household Goods Movers, Tax Professionals, Immigration Attorneys, etc.).

Ensure HR and business leaders are informed and enabled through clear guidance, training, and communication related to Global Mobility programs, taxation, gross‑up, and labor law considerations. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent required 10+ years of work experience required Previous HR or role-related experience required Preferred Qualifications: 8+ years in Global Mobility, Immigration, or Relocation within a multinational organization 5+ years business-facing HR, HR COE, HR Operations, or role-related experience preferred 5+ years of people leadership experience Demonstrated ability to leverage case management platforms (e.g., ServiceNow) to streamline workflows, monitor case activity, and drive consistent, scalable service delivery Proven vendor, budget, and stakeholder management experience #IJ Travel Percentage: 10%
