Awarded by the Air Force Installation Contracting Center, our contract spans a five-year base period with three one-year options, reflecting our commitment to excellence and operational support. Job Summary The Freight Traffic Supervisor oversees the assigned personnel and material movement of shipments, yard operations, and terminal warehouse operations of the TMO and ensures compliance with applicable regulations.

A capable candidate shall have knowledge of the AFI 24-602V2 and DTR Part II. The role will supervise the freight function, interpret and apply carrier tariff, rate service tenders, freight classifications, and be knowledgeable with shipment and receipt procedures for MICAP/999 cargo.

Proficiency with shipment planning procedures, documentation for all shipment modes, and discrepancy reporting are key skillsets for success in the position. The Freight Traffic Supervisor will be dual-hatted as a primary Senior Customs Border Clearance Agent (SCBCA), meeting all training and program requirements for IAW DTR 4500.9, Part V.

TMO, as they may be tasked to perform U.S. Customs and Agriculture duties as well as program management. **This will be an onsite position with fulltime deployment to Moron Air Base in Moron, Spain Roles and Responsibilities Supervises assigned personnel performing freight functions.

Prepare and move cargo in line with IAW AFI 24-602V2 and DTR: Receive, inspect, and pack outbound cargo for shipment. Receive, inspect and in-check inbound cargo, executing all cargo shipping procedures. Complete DD Form 1149, Requisition and Shipping Document; DD Form 1384, Transportation Control and Movement Document; and other forms associated with DOD freight movement.

Provide response/on–call service for 999/NMCS/MICAP cargo. Maintain reusable container program and assets. Utilize in-transit visibility (ITV) systems (i.e. Global Asset Transportation Execution System (GATES), Integrated Global Convergence (IGC) or electronic media (i.e. phone, e-mail) to maintain ITV capability of cargo.

Manages (TPPS) Transportation Payment Processing Systems ensuring proper electronic release orders from CMOS flow into appropriate payment systems such as SYNCADA. Prepare, submit, & monitor Transportation Discrepancies Reports (TDR’s) in Global Freight Management (GFM).

Maintains qualification as Hazardous Material Preparer certifier and ADR certifier. Operates automated data processing equipment to prepare, transmit and receive transportation data. Operate various vehicles and material handling equipment to transport/load cargo/equipment.

Utilizes industrial machinery (saws, drills, automatic wrapping machines, etc). Ensures cargo is cleared for international movement with the Air Clearance Authority (ACA) prior to AMC shipping. Oversees building area and equipment inspections, ensuring housekeeping is completed.

Follows all safety rules and established standards. Attend various DoD training, conferences, and symposiums to stay current on industry requirements. Basic Qualifications Must meet AFSC 2T071, Traffic Freight Supervisor qualifications. Must have a high level of experience working in a DoD cargo/freight section. 5+ years of experience as a Freight Supervisor with extensive knowledge of all applicable DoD regulations.

Proficiency in operating procedures for classified, sensitive, protected, and AA&E cargo. Proficiency with shipment planning/packaging and preparational procedures for all shipment modes. Proficiency in (CMOS) Cargo Movement Operations System on an administrative/operational level maintaining REPSHIPS and all applicable site data while serving as a CMOS Site Manager.

Experience utilizing Cargo Operations Movement System (CMOS) as an administrator and operator. Must possess valid U.S. Driver’s license and ability to operate a forklift. Ability to obtain a SECRET security clearance. Preferred Qualifications Experience in Freight/Cargo Movement obtained from military service training and performance.
