Program Manager
- Amazon is seeking a Tax Program Manager to join the Finance Organization and drive significant domestic and international projects. The Tax Program Manager will be responsible for driving important projects involving cross-functional teams, including accounting, finance, legal, HR and tech teams. This position requires regular communication with stakeholders and executive leadership on status, risks and strategy. The Tax Program Manager will create and manage milestone schedules, create meeting agendas, lead recurring meetings and will be responsible for ensuring critical project dates are met. The Tax Program Manager will also assist the team in identifying areas of process improvement, tracking budgets and providing updates to stakeholder documents. While a deep tax/finance and technical background are not required, familiarity with both domains will be helpful. This is an exciting and challenging role and will give the right person a chance to be part of a company and a team making history. The PM will also be tasked with owning recurring tasks such as preparing stakeholder docs, tracking budgets
- looking for ways to improve current processes. About the team This role is for a program manager on the North America Stores Transactional Tax PMO team and will assist in supporting key business initiatives, internal re-organizations and managing operational activities.
- 5+ years of program or project management experience - Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements - Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery
- communicating results to senior leadership
- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience - Master's degree
- MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field - Knowledge of general AI tools - Experience designing, implementing
- scaling upskilling, apprenticeship
