We are looking for a dynamic, organized self-starter to be the subject matter expert, responsible for learning and development (L&D). The Last Mile Learning Program Manager will play a vital role in advancing Amazon’s unique culture and enabling the success of our Amazon XL last mile logistics operations.

The role is designed to PM training for our new and existing partners - you will provide customer obsession in both the onboarding experience and the continuous education by providing the knowledge our partners need to be successful. This role interacts with Amazonian and partners sourced from different backgrounds and levels, so strong communication skills plus the ability to influence and convey complex issues into simple learning solutions is essential.

You will be the face of the learning journey and work in partnership with in-country teams and specialists to evolve learning material to business needs that make our new entrepreneurs and Amazonians successful. This is a key role in the Last Mile program with lots of visibility.

This role can be based in one of our corporate offices, fulfillment centers or delivery stations across Germany/EU but requires flexibility to travel to accommodate business need - up to 50% in peak onboarding periods. Key job responsibilities Job responsibilities - Strategic Planning – Define and execute a training strategy and program to ensure that they have the adequate knowledge and resources to be successful. - Effective Management – Own end-to-end management of the learning program; conduct needs analysis, design, develop, implement and evaluate training. - Partner Management – own and drive relationship management with program teams, key stakeholders and SMEs to deliver information in an organized curriculum on an ongoing basis. - Effectively identify gaps in training and prioritize development of training materials. - Develop and implement metrics that measure learning outcomes. - Drive continuous improvement into existing processes, operations and learning interventions. - Facilitate training programs using skillful application of adult learning theory. - Draw upon a wide variety of techniques to ensure engagement, knowledge transfer, skill development and efficient, fun learning. - Support our business development team by presenting our overall Last Mile program in front of groups, large and small, including a strong ability to answer complex questions on the fly

Basic Qualifications

A degree - English speaker (C2 Level) - Fluent in a second language (German, Spanish, Italian) - 2+ years of program or project management experience. - Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements. - Experience owning learning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership. - Instructional design experience and excellent skills in digital learning content creation and e-learning authoring tools. - Excellent written and verbal communications skills and a high bar for accuracy. - Familiar with e-learning and Learning Management Systems - This leader is an owner and expected to work autonomously in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior L&D, logistics or human resources experience. - Master degree in education, psychology
  • adult learning. - Excellent experience in owning and developing standards for curriculum development and content. - Experience consulting with business partners to identify needs and develop innovative solutions. - Focus on customers’ needs and satisfaction, with an emphasis on demonstrating return on investment in training. - Experience formulating and implementing training/performance improvement strategies, technologies, methodologies
