- AWS Infrastructure Services (AIS) owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we’re the people who keep the cloud running. This role leads category management for EE components from cradle to grave. It requires strong business judgment, technical acumen, and the ability to drive results through cross-functional influence. Key job responsibilities 1. Supply and/or Capacity agreement - Negotiate supply agreement (i.e. capacity reservation agreement) to ensure supply continuity, mitigate risk, and support AWS growth. 2. QBR and Escalation - Lead supplier QBRs tracking performance across delivery, quality, cost, and roadmap
- deliver weekly project updates, monthly executive briefings, and own escalations to resolution. 3. Sourcing Strategy - Develop sourcing strategies while tracking industry trends and aligning supplier roadmaps to AWS strategic initiatives. 4. Cost - Own component cost management, driving year-over-year reductions in NRE, Capex and BOM+MVA. Manage PPV, spot market buy budget and variance analysis for financial planning. 5. Contract - Negotiate complex supplier agreements and SOWs.
- 6+ years of working with Core Cloud Technology Services, including, but not limited to Compute, Edge, Hybrid, Security, and/or Networking experience - Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level - Experience leading complex, multi-year initiatives that may be cross-functional and/or span business and technology - Bachelor's degree in engineering or science

Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
