Job Description An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced marketer to join the UK & Ireland Oncology Business Unit, based in Holborn, London and reporting to the Associate Director, Sales & Marketing. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping & executing the marketing plan for an antibody-drug conjugate across multiple metastatic breast cancer indications.
This role is suited to a marketer with a track record of executing marketing plans, leading integrated omnichannel campaigns, and driving strong cross-functional working. Specific Job Requirements Lead the operational execution of the marketing plan, translating strategic priorities into impactful, measurable activities that deliver against brand objectives.
Lead the development and delivery of omnichannel and digital marketing campaigns and customer journeys within agreed timelines and budget Contribute to the development and refinement of brand strategy through robust analysis of market dynamics, customer insights, competitive intelligence and business performance.
Use customer, market and performance insights to continuously optimise campaigns and identify opportunities to enhance customer experience and business impact. Demonstrate excellence in project leadership, managing multiple priorities and agency partners to deliver high-quality execution on time and within budget.
Develop effective working relationships with expert oncologists and other key stakeholders to seek insights and develop advocacy within the UK & Ireland market Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with Gilead policies and ABPI/IPHA Codes of Practice.
Knowledge, Experience & Skills Educated to degree level or equivalent within Life Sciences, Marketing, Business or a related discipline. Proven marketing experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a proven track record of executing brand strategies and leading day-to-day implementation of marketing plans.
Strong team player and collaborative approach Strong understanding of omnichannel and digital marketing principles, including experience designing and executing integrated customer engagement campaigns. Experience managing complex projects, multiple priorities and external agency partners effectively.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively. Knowledge and experience of the UK and Ireland pharmaceutical markets is essential. Oncology experience is desirable but not essential We are pleased to share that Gilead’s Stockley Park and Holborn offices are planning to come together at a new London headquarters at 1 Triton Square, NW1, from approximately Q2 2027.
