We're seeking someone to join our Derivatives Clearing Client Reporting team as a Application Developer in the Derivatives Clearing Technology Department to help develop applications and solutions that serve our clients reporting needs. In the Technology division, we leverage innovation to build the connections and capabilities that power our Firm, enabling our clients and colleagues to redefine markets and shape the future of our communities.
This is a Lead Applications Development position at Vice President level, which is part of the job family responsible for building solutions that serve our client's reporting needs. What you'll do in the role: - Communicate regularly with product leads across the technology organization and discuss opportunities for improvement to existing and future technology solutions. - Demonstrate exceptional dedication and technical expertise to make significant contributions across a wide range of technologies that serve our clients - Contribute towards multiple reporting areas such as Listed Derivatives, OTC Clearing, Repo Clearing What you'll bring to the role: - Ability to effectively manage multiple functions or guide junior staff and initiatives. - Advanced understanding of business line and discipline with some knowledge of competitive environment and other disciplines. - Work experience in the following technologies: Crystal Reports, Excel Macro/Aspose, Sybase, DB2, Data Virtualization, Snowflake, VB and MS Access (PBITG - Legacy Process), Perl, Python, and Java. - Financial product knowledge with Listed Derivatives, OTC Clearing, Interest, Collateral Management/OTC Bilateral, Equity Swaps, Margin, Expiry Reporting, FXPB, and MSPA reporting - At least 6 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role.
