As a GVHE Hardware Simulation Project Manager, you have the unique opportunity to shape GM's future by leading how hardware subsystems integrate with the vehicle and its software. In this role, you will manage multiple projects and timelines that lead to a future state of fully optimizes hardware and software integration in our vehicles.
An ideal candidate will have strong project management skills and is able to leverage tools such as Jira, Power BI, and LLM/AI to optimize workflows and provide clarity of priorities and timelines to teams
Key Responsibilities
- Manage tactical plans that deliver successful hardware/software simulation including electrical hardware BOM development, linking of requirements
- revision control plans for plant models and electrical connectivity to hardware.
- Develop strategies for improved workflows in hardware and software simulation.
- Create visual reports and communicate to various levels of leadership.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with enterprise partners including systems engineering, math design, GEOS, electrical engineering, and VDDV in creating robust processes and visibility of program statuses
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or related Engineering discipline Minimum 3 years of experience in product development, systems engineering, or work related to software/hardware connectivity.
- Proven track record in project management and use of various software tools including Jira and Power BI.
- Technical knowledge of GVHE components and vehicle-level integration Strong communication and collaboration skills Skilled and proficient with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Extensive personal experience and discernment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks.
- Lead and likely direct the work of others.
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
