Military Deliberate Planner The Opportunity: Apply expertise in military planning processes. Develop component support plans to Combatant Command deliberate contingency plans. Apply subject matter expertise and support to operational planning teams ( OPTs ) , joint planning teams ( JPTs ) , conferences, workshops, exercises, and other spe cia l events.
Prepare briefings and information papers, draft executive corresp ond ence, and create other deliverables as required for senior decision makers. C ond uct crisis planning as required and directed by the Component Commander and other higher headquarters.
You Have: 7+ years of experience with the military including time at a Service Headquarters, Service Component Headquarters, or Combatant Command 2+ years of experience with plans at a MEF, Fleet, Corps, or Numbered Air Force Headquarters, Service Component Headquarters, or Combatant Command G/N/A/J-5 or service equivalent Experience with the Marine Corps Planning Process, Military Decision-Making Process, Navy Planning Process, or Joint Planning Process Experience leading Joint or Operational Planning Teams in a dynamic environment Ability to create reports, briefings, and documents at the Flag, General, or SES level, and deliver them with client-ready quality Ability to travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations up to 25% of the time TS/SCI clearance Bachelor's degree Nice If You Have: Experience as a Joint Qualified Officer, Spe cia l Technical Operations Planner, or Security Cooperation Planner Experience with the planning tools, automation systems, sof tware, and databases in use in the Joint Staff and Combatant Commands Experience in US Marine Corps Military Occupation Spe cia lty ( MOS ) 0505, 0507, or 0508, US Army Officer Skill Identifier 6S, US Air Force Spe cia l Experience Identifier YSG, or US Navy Additional Qualification Desig nato r JP1 or JP3 Master's degree Graduate of the School of Advanced Warfighting, School of Advanced Military Studies, School of Advanced Air and Space Studies, Maritime Advanced Warfighting School, or the Joint Advanced Warfighting School Completion of Joint Professional Military Education ( JPME ) Phase I course Completion of War College or Joint and Combined Warfighting School JPME II course Graduate of Joint Operational Planning and Execution System ( JOPES ) Action Officer course Clearance : Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information ; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
