Job Summary Eagle Ford Overview The liquids-rich Eagle Ford tight oil trend, located in the Western Gulf Coast Basin of south Texas, represents the company’s second-most prolific unconventional resource development. ConocoPhillips was one of the first companies into the liquids play, resulting in a low-cost entry into this acreage.
In 2009, the company began exploring the development potential of this play and by year-end 2023 held approximately 199,000 net unconventional leasehold and mineral acres, primarily in DeWitt, Karnes and Live Oak counties. We hold approximately 484,000 unconventional net acres in the Eagle Ford, located in south Texas.
The current focus is on full-field development, using customized well spacing and stacking patterns adapted through reservoir analysis. During 2025, net production averaged 390 MBOED Position Overview The Measurement Technician ensures accurate oil and gas measurement in compliance with company policies, contractual agreements, and regulatory requirements.
They will have knowledge in multiple areas of Oil & Gas measurement, basic understanding of flow computers, working with calibrated equipment, and well / facility operations. This role reports to the Measurement Foreman and supports field operations, audits, and system improvements while promoting a strong safety culture.
This position is based in Kenedy, TX. You will need to currently reside or be willing to relocate within a 40-mile radius of Kenedy, TX. This is a Safety Sensitive position. Your responsibilities may include: Manage your assigned workload testing, proving, and troubleshooting various meters.
Being enrolled in the respiratory program and working under a supplied air system. Self-manage inventory needs and documentation using Conoco systems. Assisting Specialist with testing of modern technologies, equipment, or trial systems. Aid Measurement Specialist during activities involving measurement design of new facilities, expansions, and systems as needed.
Assist Measurement Specialist and Foreman with any internal and external field audits. Assist in the development or revision of all Measurement related SOPs. Assist Measurement Specialist with discrepancies, scheduling, and coordinating all meter testing using TestIT and other associated Conoco systems.

Basic Qualifications Legally authorized to work in the United States. Current/valid driver's license. 1 or more years of experience working with various Oil or Gas Measurement systems.
Basic level of proficiency in Teams, Microsoft office software (i.e., Word, Excel). Basic Knowledge of liquid and gas measurement software’s (i.e., Prolink, Rosemount Radar, Flowgate.). Currently reside or willing to relocate within a 40-mile driving radius of Kenedy, TX.
Willing and able to perform/align (with or without reasonable accommodation) with following: Work in temperature extremes or adverse weather conditions, Work in several different geographic locations every single day, Work both in and out of a company-owned vehicle, Wear appropriate special safety equipment, Climb heights up to 24 feet to gauge tanks, Walk, bend, stoop, lift, push, and pull, u se hand tools to make minor repairs.

Preferred Qualifications Experience testing, proving, or witnessing with some of the following meter, analyzer, and sampler types: Coriolis Meters -Liquid measurement Turbine Meters – Liquid measurement S&W Monitors – Liquid measurement Orifice Meters – Gas measurement Ultrasonic Meters – Gas measurement Analyzers – (i.e., O2, H2S, dewpoint, GC) Samplers – Gas & Liquid End devices (i.e., GWR’s, PIT, TIT) Basic Knowledge of LACT units and operation.
Experience with TestIT, ProveIT, and SAP-PM. Physical Demands & Work Environment Work is performed in field and facility environments and may involve exposure to harsh weather conditions, noise, heights, confined spaces, and energized electrical equipment.
Work in several different geographic locations every single day, Work both in and out of a company-owned vehicle. Personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn and strict adherence to Safety protocols. Climb heights up to 24 feet to gauge tanks, Walk, bend, stoop, lift, push, and pull, use hand tools to make minor repairs.
Work alone a high percentage of the time; Work unscheduled overtime.
