Senior Finance Manager - Core FP&A

We are at the hub of Microsoft’s financial activities, being a key strategic partner to all sides of the business and serving a diverse set of stakeholders: Board of Directors, Wall Street analysts and shareholders, the Senior Leadership Team (CEO, CFO, and Executive VPs), executive staff (Corporate VPs), finance leadership (CFOs and controllers), and functional teams across the company (Corporate Strategy and central teams).

The Technical Finance Team is responsible for consolidating financial insights that span the entire company. Examples include business performance metrics, forward-looking guidance, extended long-range planning, corporate structure, cash flow, foreign exchange, and market/compete.

This job will give you the opportunity to learn executive perspective and contribute to company-wide impact, while gaining CFO skills that are difficult to get anywhere else. Responsibilities Develop trusted partnerships across diverse teams such as Engineering, Field, Corporate Strategy, Human Resources, Tax, Treasury, Accounting, and Finance Demonstrate proficient attention to detail in financial modeling, reporting, and presentations Simplify complex details to support leadership decision-making Manage change and drive opportunities for efficiency and automation across financial rhythms of business (ROB) Successful execution of time-sensitive and high-pressure deliverables with calm composure, positive attitude, and team spirit Contribute to team growth including mentorship, coaching, recruiting, onboarding, and training activities Apply judgment and manage multiple workstreams to create clarity in ambiguous scenarios Qualifications Required/minimum qualifications Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 2+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR equivalent experience.

Financial Analysis IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $96,500 - $188,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $123,500 - $206,400 per year.
