Become a part of our caring community The Program Delivery Associate Director, Provider Operations executes strategic programs that support business objectives, operational effectiveness, and continuous process improvement. You will provide leadership, direction, and oversight across a portfolio of programs, ensuring consistency in delivery standards, stakeholder engagement, project governance, and executive reporting.

The Program Delivery Associate Director, Provider Operations serves as a strategic and operational leader, with responsibility for developing strategy as a core part of the role and partnering with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to set priorities, shape implementation plans, and drive execution of high-impact initiatives.

You will strengthen program delivery by managing risks and dependencies, elevating team performance, and ensuring work is aligned to organizational, segment, and enterprise goals. You will regularly assess program outcomes and communicate clear, concise insights and recommendations to executive audiences through business reviews, status updates, decision documents, and polished presentations.

With significant independence and sound judgment, this leader navigates ambiguity, advises on complex and highly visible issues, and identifies the best course of action based on stakeholder needs, operational impacts, and strategic business priorities.

Use your skills to make an impact Required Qualifications 5 or more years of experience serving as a strategic and operational leader, including developing strategy as a core responsibility and translating strategic priorities into executable plans. 5 or more years of experience leading complex programs, projects, or business initiatives across cross-functional teams. 5 or more years of experience partnering with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to set priorities, align work to enterprise and segment-specific goals, and drive execution of high-impact initiatives. 5 or more years of people leadership experience, including coaching, performance management, prioritization, accountability, and team development.

Ability to lead through ambiguity, exercise sound independent judgment, and make decisions on complex, highly visible issues. Experience strengthening program delivery practices, including establishing program governance, delivery standards, project management routines, and executive reporting practices.

Proven ability to manage risks, dependencies, stakeholder expectations, and operational impacts to ensure successful delivery of business priorities. Proven ability to identify process improvement opportunities and implement practical, scalable solutions that improve team effectiveness and business outcomes.

Experience assessing program performance, measuring outcomes, and using insights to inform recommendations, decisions, and future strategy. Strong verbal and written communication skills, including executive presentations, stakeholder facilitation, business reviews, status reporting, decision documents, and issue escalation.

Advanced PowerPoint presentation development skills, with the ability to organize complex information into visually clear, concise, executive-level materials. Ability to manage multiple priorities, balance competing stakeholder needs, resolve complex issues, and drive results through others.

Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority and build alignment across leaders, peers, and cross-functional partners. Preferred Qualifications Master's Degree in Business Administration or a related field PMP certification Six Sigma Certification Knowledge and experience in health care environment/managed care Strong analytical skills Additional Information This is a remote position.

Work at Home Requirements: To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria: At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is required; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested.

In certain roles, the minimum recommended internet speed required by Humana may not be sufficient for business needs. Humana reserves the right to require associates to upgrade their internet service if necessary. Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.

Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required. Scheduled Weekly Hours 40 Pay Range The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting.

The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc. $126,300 - $173,700 per year This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
