Essential Onsite - Production Operator Coordinator As a Production Operator you will be under moderate supervision, perform setup and operation of production equipment to print, personalize, insert, and mail statements, letters, checks, and cards within specified timelines.
Manually prepares documents and/or packages for mailing. Follows quality service standards, safety expectations, and complies with all company policies and procedures. The work environment is primarily an indoor warehouse or manufacturing facility.
Frequent exposure to moving equipment and mechanical components is required, and noise levels can be significant. Success in this role requires the following: Excelling in a team environment Strong verbal and written communication skills Integrative thinking skills Ability to adapt to change quickly Willingness and aptitude for learning new things Quick recognition of problems and proper escalation when necessary Optimism, boldness, and forward-leaning Attention to detail Self motivation Job Responsibilities: Performs all basic production equipment operation, ensures a steady workflow, achieves and maintains production standards as required by the department, including performing minor equipment adjustments.
Conduct quality control inspections on credit cards while actively navigating the production floor, unloading materials, and maintaining the physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and walk up to at least 10,000 steps daily Ensures quality checks are performed before, during, and upon completion of production runs with emphasis on final customer product and meeting department standards.
Troubleshoots basic and intermediate program and system malfunctions to restore normal functioning. Completes operator/job logs and other documentation to track job completion and produces reports/documentation to validate damaged pieces during production runs.
Maintains appropriate supply inventory based on established procedures and requirements. Manually prepares documents/card packages for mailing. May provide training support for new employees (after proficient) , may provide answers to workflow questions (after proficient).
Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management. Ability to operate motorized production equipment such as but not limited to manufacturing machines, packaging machines, pallet jack, and other non-motorized production machinery.

Compensation: $21 per hour Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification At least 6 months of experience in Machine or Production Operation Preferred Qualifications: At least 1 year of experience in Machine or Production Operation At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.
The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting.
Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked. Salt Lake City, UT: $43,680 - $43,680 for Production Operator Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
