This role is for a Content Analyst within the Foreign Exchange & Money Market (FX & MM) Pricing team, operating under the Reference and Time Series processing domain. The role is required to provide 24/5 coverage for maintaining FXMM data on flagship products such as Workspace and DataScope Suite; responsible for ensuring content set is maintained and delivered in an accurate and timely manner while also supporting prioritized projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES Process and maintain data accurately and in a timely manner onto databases using technical and financial knowledge. Communicate & collaborate with internal and external departments for resolution of data queries. Developing expertise in data related issues and build up knowledge on Forex & Money Market and market practices/conventions in relevant markets.
Use tools/support to maintain/improve content quality during daily operations. Ensure data quality, accuracy, timeliness, and completeness per company standards for the covered product/market. Improve service resiliency for our core content services in FXMM team, as measured from our clients’ perspective.
Improve management of incidents and outages by timely identification and critical issues to the relevant development teams. Enforce change control procedures, data operations standards and current data policies and procedures. Responsible for delivering high productivity and quality data.
Support specific projects, as assigned by manager. Proactively drive and resolve data problems. Overall accountable for FXMM process. Lead BCP plan for the team and Flexible to support 24*5. Improve efficiency in work practices by implementing automation where possible.
The process involves referencing, Tagging, monitoring and validating pricing data daily for key Asian, European and North American FI/FX & MM content sets. The team also works on delivery of Change management actions and Content Enhancements.
The team needs to ensure to provide flawless support for our content and act as a point of contact for any reference related queries, client issues on prices and charting etc SCOPE & IMPACT Accountable for the quality of own work, delivered within agreed timeframes and quality standards.
Quality of work is reviewed to ensure it is delivered within set parameters of timeliness, accuracy, and completeness. Works independently within defined area, taking ownership of problems within own area of knowledge. TECHNICAL / PROFESSIONAL SKILLS & COMPETENCIES Knowledge of FXIR, NDA, DataStream, Notify, QMS and Change management and is added advantages.
Strong understanding of reference details related to FXMM asset class, datasets and over the counter (OTC) instruments. Effectively communicate both internally & externally. Should be able to work under pressure. Excellent attention to details, eager to learn new things and multitasking.
