Role Title - Software Engineering Analyst Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineering Analyst with strong expertise in Python-based backend development, FastAPI, AWS cloud services, data engineering platforms, and modern QA automation practices.
This role will involve building scalable, cloud-native applications, real-time and batch data pipelines, API-driven services, and quality-focused engineering solutions. You will work across backend engineering, cloud infrastructure, streaming data platforms, databases, AI-enabled applications, and automated testing to deliver secure, performant, and reliable enterprise solutions.
Roles & Responsibilities Develop and maintain scalable backend services using Python, FastAPI, and RESTful API design principles Build cloud-native solutions on AWS, leveraging services such as DynamoDB, Kinesis, compute, storage, and API integration capabilities Design and implement real-time and batch data processing pipelines using Flink, Spark, Databricks/DBRX, and related data engineering tools Work with databases including DynamoDB, MongoDB, relational databases, and other enterprise data stores Support AI-enabled application development using LLM/SLM concepts, model integration patterns, and responsible engineering practices Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices to improve build, test, deployment, and release reliability Develop automated test coverage using TypeScript, Playwright, and modern QA tools Collaborate with engineering, data, DevOps, QA, and product teams to deliver secure, high-quality software solutions Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, testing, troubleshooting, and production deployment activities Stay current with emerging cloud, data engineering, AI, DevOps, and test automation practices Qualifications Required Experience & Skills 1–3 years of experience in software engineering, backend development, data engineering, or QA automation Strong proficiency in Python for backend service development Hands-on understanding of FastAPI, RESTful APIs, and microservices-based application design Working knowledge of AWS services and cloud-native application development Understanding of databases such as DynamoDB, MongoDB, relational databases, and general data modeling concepts Familiarity with Spark, Flink, Databricks, DBRX, or similar data processing and analytics platforms Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, Git-based workflows, and release automation Exposure to TypeScript, Playwright, test automation frameworks, and QA tools Awareness of LLM/SLM concepts and AI-enabled application development patterns Strong problem-solving, analytical, debugging, and collaboration skills Preferred Experience & Skills Experience building production-ready APIs using FastAPI and Python-based service frameworks Exposure to AWS serverless, streaming, storage, security, and managed database services Hands-on experience with Kinesis, Spark, Flink, Databricks, DBRX, or similar big data and streaming technologies Familiarity with LLM/SLM-based solution patterns, prompt integration, model orchestration, or AI-assisted application workflows Experience with MongoDB, DynamoDB, SQL databases, indexing, query optimization, and data access patterns Understanding of DevOps practices including CI/CD, automated testing, build pipelines, monitoring, and deployment automation Experience with TypeScript-based test automation using Playwright and modern QA tools Exposure to containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes Location & Hours of Work Location: Onsite / Hybrid – Hyderabad Office Work Hours: 11:30 AM – 8:30 PM Equal Opportunity Statement Evernorth is an Equal Opportunity Employer actively encouraging and supporting organization-wide involvement of staff in diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts to educate, inform and advance both internal practices and external work with diverse client populations.
