Position Summary As a Software Development Engineer at CVS Health , you will be a key contributor in designing and developing new components and enhancing existing capabilities within the myPBM Ecosystem .

You will take ownership of complex and high-impact initiatives, guiding cross-functional teams (including IT employees and contractors) to deliver successful outcomes as a Project Owner . This role requires strong collaboration, communication, and technical leadership to ensure scalable, high-quality solutions aligned with business and technical objectives.

Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience in large-scale software development 1+ years of experience developing applications, web services, and cloud-native solutions using technologies such as Java, SQL, Node.js, React, Angular, Spring Boot, REST APIs, JPA , and related tech stacks 1+ years of experience working in Agile development environments 1+ years of experience in Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices 1+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines , using tools such as GitHub, CircleCI, Harness, Jenkins, or GitLab 1+ years of experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) 1+ years of experience working with cloud platforms such as GCP, Azure, or AWS Preferred Qualifications Strong leadership, organizational, and planning skills, with the ability to own and drive complex initiatives Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deliverables effectively Experience collaborating across multiple IT teams, including technical leads, architects, infrastructure, and enterprise architecture teams Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels , including business partners and senior leadership Experience working within the PBM or healthcare domain Education Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent specialized training or relevant professional experience Anticipated Weekly Hours 40 Time Type Full time Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $72,100.00 - $144,200.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.

The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
