Job Title Senior Client Support Specialist About your role: As a Senior Client Support Specialist, you will support the daily analysis and resolution of settlement exceptions for Bank of America clients, including Automated Clearing House (ACH), payment transaction settlement (PTS), and debit suspense activity.

You will work across client contacts, bank partners, and internal teams at Fiserv to research discrepancies, correct account issues, and help ensure accurate, timely digital payment settlement

What You'll Do

  • Resolve funding and settlement reject issues by researching transaction discrepancies and taking corrective action within established service timeframes.
  • Investigate and correct account setup issues that lead to funding or settlement rejects across merchant and client portfolios.
  • Support Merchant Portfolio Analysts with account inquiries related to funding exceptions, settlement rejects, and transaction research.
  • Educate merchants and bank partners on root causes of funding and settlement rejects and provide guidance to help reduce repeat issues.
  • Navigate multiple systems, including North, South, proprietary platforms, and TSYS applications, to analyze activity and resolve exceptions accurately.
  • Complete assigned work with a high degree of professionalism, accuracy, and responsiveness while managing stringent deadlines.
  • Provide support across additional business areas as needed based on workflow demands and team priorities.

  • Experience you'll need to have: 2+ years of experience in client support, customer service, operations support
  • payment exception processing in a financial services, merchant services
  • banking environment. 2+ years of experience researching and resolving transaction discrepancies, funding exceptions, settlement rejects
  • related payment operations issues.
  • Experience using multiple systems and applications to investigate account activity, document findings, and complete issue resolution with accuracy.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with clients, bank partners, and internal stakeholders through professional email and verbal communication.
  • High School Diploma or higher, or an equivalent combination of education, related experience and/or military experience.
  • Experience that would be great to have: Experience supporting merchant services or digital payment settlement operations.
  • Knowledge of card brands, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.
  • Knowledge of settlement processes, reject handling, or suspense account research.
  • Experience working with TSYS or similar payment processing platforms.
  • How you'll work: This role is on-site Monday through Friday.

  • This role requires use of a computer and audio equipment.

  • Salary Range: $38,400.00-$48,000.00 These pay ranges apply to employees in Maryland.
  • Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
