We're seeking someone to join as a Data Engineer to support and develop on the firm's strategic data mart for OTC (Over the Counter) derivatives products. In the Technology division, we leverage innovation to build the connections and capabilities that power our Firm, enabling our clients and colleagues to redefine markets and shape the future of our communities.

This is a Data Engineer role at Associate level, which is part of the job family responsible for building scalable and high-performance database and components for regulatory, business analytics (metrics reporting) and operational risk reporting.

Design and build scalable ETL pipelines to ingest, transform and load large volumes of OTC derivatives data for downstream reporting and analytics. Develop and optimize database objects, stored procedures and batch processes that support ETL workflows, report generation and data delivery.

Design data models, schemas, SQL views and stored procedures to support efficient ETL processing and regulatory, operational and business reporting. Build and maintain real-time and batch ETL pipelines for trade and confirmation data ingestion, transformation, reconciliation and report-ready data provisioning.

Support data migration and onboarding activities by building validation routines, reconciliation checks and ETL cutover processes to ensure reporting continuity. Develop, automate and support regulatory and business reports using Python, SQL stored procedures and enterprise reporting platforms such as Business Objects and Tableau.

Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures and reusable reporting logic to generate accurate, timely outputs for business users and regulatory consumers. Ensure strong data controls, access governance and quality checks across ETL pipelines, reporting datasets and database environments.

Participate in Agile delivery and contribute to automation, scheduling and CI/CD practices for ETL jobs, reporting workflows and production deployments. Provide production support for ETL and reporting processes, including job monitoring, issue triage, data reconciliation and root cause analysis.

What you'll bring to the role: At least 3 years’ relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role. 3-5 years of experience in ETL and reporting development, experience with SQL and writing stored procedures, building ETL pipelines, Snowflake and DB2 databases and Python for ETL and report generation.

Strong knowledge of SQL for reporting and data analysis Have Worked in Agile, DevOps and Git Perform of data validation and reconciliation. Knowledge of reporting tools such as Business Objects or Tableau is good to have. Experience in cloud platforms (Azure/GCP/AWS) good to have.
