DevOps Engineer – Senior Associate

Who we are looking for: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cloud-native application deployment, infrastructure automation, CI/CD engineering, platform observability, production support, and operational excellence.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting and enhancing current application, a strategic Tier-1 trading platform, by partnering with development, QA, cloud engineering, security, and infrastructure teams to deliver secure, scalable, and resilient solutions across the software development lifecycle.

What you will be responsible for: Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Harness and enterprise deployment platforms. Build and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform Enterprise (TFE) and AWS Federated Cloud services.

Automate application deployment, infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and operational tasks. Support cloud-native application hosting on AWS including ECS, RDS, Kafka, Route53, Secrets Manager, IAM, CloudWatch, and related services.

Implement and maintain platform observability solutions including CloudWatch, Splunk, monitoring dashboards, alerting, and operational metrics. Troubleshoot production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and drive preventive improvements.

Collaborate with QA teams to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and support shift-left quality initiatives. The testing strategy emphasizes automation and CI/CD integration in AWS Federated Cloud, Terraform Enterprise, and Harness pipelines.

Manage environment provisioning, deployment automation, release orchestration, and disaster recovery activities. Partner with security teams to ensure compliance with enterprise standards, vulnerability remediation, and audit requirements. Support application onboarding, cloud migration, and modernization initiatives.

Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, support procedures, and disaster recovery documentation. Participate in on-call support rotations and critical production release activities. What we value: Strong ownership mindset and commitment to operational excellence.

Mandatory skills / experience: Cloud & Infrastructure: Min 2-5 years of DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering experience.

Strong experience with AWS cloud services. Hands-on experience managing containerized applications on Amazon ECS. Experience supporting highly available and production-critical applications. Infrastructure as Code: Strong expertise in Terraform and Terraform Enterprise (TFE).

Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code patterns and managing infrastructure lifecycle. Terraform Enterprise is leveraged for deployment standardization, automation, governance, and cloud provisioning capabilities. CI/CD & Automation: Hands-on experience with Harness CI/CD platform.

Experience designing and managing enterprise deployment pipelines. Proficiency in deployment automation and release engineering. Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines. Current application setup leverages CI/CD integration across AWS Federated Cloud, Terraform Enterprise, and Harness for automated validation and deployment workflows.

Monitoring & Observability: Experience with CloudWatch, Splunk, logging frameworks, monitoring dashboards, and alerting solutions. Expertise in performance troubleshooting and operational monitoring. Operating Systems & Scripting: Linux administration experience.

Proficiency in Bash, Python, PowerShell, or similar scripting languages. Experience automating operational and deployment activities. Release & Production Support: Experience supporting production deployments and change management processes.

Strong incident management, root cause analysis, and problem management skills. Additional requirements / Good to have skills: Experience with Kafka administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting. Knowledge of FIX Protocol and capital markets/trading systems.

Experience with PostgreSQL and database deployment automation. Familiarity with ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence, and enterprise SDLC tooling. Experience implementing disaster recovery and resiliency testing. Knowledge of security controls, IAM, secrets management, and compliance frameworks.

Exposure to site reliability engineering (SRE) practices. Experience supporting external integrations and market connectivity platforms. Understanding of enterprise audit, governance, and regulatory requirements. Experience working with AWS Federated Cloud onboarding and enterprise cloud adoption programs, including Harness and Terraform Enterprise integration.

Mode of work: Hybrid (Hyderabad / Bangalore) Participation in global support and release activities. Flexibility to support critical production implementations during approved maintenance windows. Occasional weekend or after-hours support for production deployments and disaster recovery exercises.
